I think it would be very strange to cast Jenna in the role of Oswin only to have her play a regenerated Jenny (re-jenny-ated?). I think there has to be a reason that Oswin looks like the new companion. I would guess that the new companion is probably a relative of Oswin.

Anything's possible. Oswin was delusional. And the whole concept of the series is a bit strange.

And yet still no explanation for this:

Could be earlier in Oswin's timestream. They could wipe Donna's memories, they could wipe hers.

Start with the 2005 season that had Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor. Work your way up from there.

Later, after you are caught up, go ahead and catch some early Doctor Who. They are low budget and campy, but still a lot of fun.

Or, more likely, John Pertwee would be the one kicking arse. He was with Naval Intelligence in WW2, knew Judo and fencing. The guy was like James Bond playing the Doctor.

Ah, but I said YOU would likely get beaten up for going out in public like that.

And the average Doctor Who fan would definitely be putting a target on their head dressed so dandy.

Rule 34.

His long, clever fingers unbuttoned her trousers with a quick flick, and then slipped inside towards her heated core. He slid the tip of his middle finger down the length of her entrance, pressing the silk of her knickers tightly against her skin and she jerked hard, her body reacting to his sensuous touch.

Martha allowed herself to fall backwards until she lay flat on the mattress. The Doctor bent his head and whispered in her ear.

Why would you want to skip almost the first 3 seasons of the newer series?
Rose knows nothing of the Doctor in the beginning of the 2005 season.

IMHO Blink hooks in noobs better than the pilot (got me watching)
to catch up at this point you only need to watch certain episodes. Blink introduces the Angels, Silence in the Library intros River. the ones with The Master don't matter in the D-11 stories, same with most of Donna/Martha eras.

She attributed her inability to find a husband to no one being able to compare to the Doctor. I think you may have pointed to a more likely explanation.

Being one-eyed was a nice touch. I'm surprised that the Beeb's censors missed that.

I think it was Terrence Dicks who told the story of how when he first saw it, he said "It's a giant dick". At the time, it didn't have a cape. And, responding to the "giant dick" argument, they put the cape around its neck so it looked like a giant circumcised dick.

Yeah, Farking Comcast finally added BBCA HD to the line-up for my area just before the new Who season started. That probably helped me biatch a bit less about BBCA's presentation of the show, since it isn't crammed into the shiatty little SD windowbox anymore.
