Fano: ParagonComplex: I've never seen a ghost myself. I consider myself a skeptic, but I also believe what people perceive to be 'ghosts' will be able to be explained by science in the future. Although I have had interesting encounters that believers would be infuriated at me for dismissing. Then I've had some things I cannot explain. The week of the anniversary of my mother's death my dog was in the hallway looking eye-level to where a person would be. He was barking his head off. Then the air cut on like there was a drop in the temperature. I went in the hallway to investigate, and I felt a cold spot. This happened twice. That same night I heard a loud banging coming from the kitchen. I looked back to see my dog and cat laying on the bed behind me looking bewildered. I went into the kitchen to see what it was, but nothing was out of place. All of that can be chalked up to coincidence, but there comes a point when three, four, five things in concession makes one wonder. I was also alone in the house.

A few weeks later I was sitting here in the den when our dishwasher came on by itself. Problem with that is it wasn't hooked up, has to be latched shut, and the knob has to be turned even when it does. Immediately before that I heard what sounded like a spoon hitting brass. Problem with that is there was nothing like that around me. I was bored, and although I'd normally feel like an idiot walking around and talking to thin air I decided to go with it. Had a really strange feeling. Oh, I just found out my cousin was potentially murdered that day. I went walking in the hallway saying: "Are you there? Is someone there?" to no one in particular. I heard a voice say my name right in my ear next to a bedroom. First time I had ever heard a voice. I went back into the den still not convinced so I sat down and said: "Chris, if you're there, give me a sign." Immediately heard knocking on the wall. Thing is, there is nothing there that can make the sound on its own. Still not convinc ...

As long as they leave me be. Glitches get stitches otherwise.

These days us ghosts are too busy messing around on the Internet to go visible - it's so last century.
