I am already registered but thought I'd take a look at it to see what it looked like and confirm my registration. It says "Site under maintenance." Pretty much when Nevada tried to do something high-tech, that's kind of expected.

theknuckler_33: I wonder if subby ever gets through an entire day with dry pants.

Handy tip for subby: add the line

127.0.0.1 facebook.com

to your hosts file

and then run

ipconfig /flushdns

just to make sure.

That should stop all your whining about facebook.

Pennsylvania has websites that are closed on weekends (not down for maintenance; closed). It's pretty much par for the course, state-website-wise.

That said, how is this any less secure or more abusable than someone filling out forms for people on the sidewalk? I mean, it would be utterly absurd to throw a fit about in-person registration drives. No self-respecting party would ever try to shut down an organization for doing that, right guys? ...Guys?

Seriously? That's worse than pay at the pump gas stations that close at night.

RyansPrivates: Let's just be clear here:

Registration =/= Voting

every year in every state thousands of registrations are thrown out. Just because you register Micky Mouse to vote doesn't mean that cartoon character gets to walk into the voting boot. Walt Disney Corporation doesn't need him too any way. They are rich and what they have is better than a vote: money.

Really, and I know you didn't say you voted under an assumed name, but are you really saying that people, real honest people, are registering false names to the voter roles?
I have heard stories about this sort of prickly pear, but I wouldn't believe them true of such men of high standing.

Arkanaut: Weedlord Bonerhitler casts 1337 votes for Vermin Supreme.

That's actually my Twitter handle. I don't tweet, but I was really surprised it was still available.

Subtard has no idea that online voter registration has been possible for at least a decade now.

Problem? The Government can't do anything right and the free market does everything better. So its clearly a great idea to let Facebook handle all our voter registration from now on.

In fact, lets have Facebook replace all the polling stations. We can all just vote online with them. The poor can just use the internet at the public library.

pacified: smitty04: Commander Lysdexic: Will they allow voting via facebook?

//Commander Lysdexic has Voted!
//5 people like this.

Without voter ID, you can vote numerous times. Dirty Harry will get reelected.

I vote at least 3 times per election. Suck it GOP

My 4 votes beat your 3. Suck it Dems.

Should have used Google+, let a corporation worth more than your state try to enforce one login:one person
