Michigan didn't need a locker room with Fail written all over it to lose.

The Michigan team already had Fail written all over it.

I already hated Alabama because Nich Saban is a douche. This just adds to Alabama's douchiness. But in a way I feel sorry for them because they're stuck in Alabama.

I'd love to see a team go in there, win, and pry the FAIL from above the door.

Is this where I come to say Roll Tide?

Because ROLL MOTHERFARKING TIDE!

Alabama wins. Auburn loses. In this state, that's what we call a doubleheader sweep.

Also, my alma mater whipped an in-state rival during the early games. Troy 39, UAB 29.

A great day for football. :-)

Yes. Alabama is terrible.Jobs, property, huge "forever wild" land preserves, friendly neighbors, and low violent crime rates. It sucks here, so save yourself and stay away.

I have never understood why any players would ever go to Alabama, no offense to our bama supporters here but its still in a really horrible state who's only saving grace is the little bit that has an ocean view.

That being said, the all pink locker visitors room is the best, I believe that's Iowa? Pretty sure it was the hawkeyes and people were biatching about it.

Minimum wage jobs, Alabama neighbors, and the crime rate(especially violent crimes) are higher than the national average. Tuscaloosa in fact skyrockets over the national average for violent crime, must be all the football players living there.

Keep mocking what you don't understand. It is amusing. I don't always respond to to trolls, but when I do I ask for citation. Sure. Birmingham and Montgomery have high violent crime rates, but I wouldn't live in either place. State wide, the rates are some of the lowest in the country.
You will also want to check your facts on minimum wage jobs, because that is simply false.

Not that hard to realize with Google you are wrong and they are 37th out of 50 in salary so you may want to rethink how great the state is in reality for just a moment.

It may be a great state for sportsman who like to fish and hunt but outside of that its pretty bad but still not nearly as bad as Mississippi so its got that going.

That should be the state motto: "Alabama, at least we ain't Mississippi"

That sounds about right. I have to drive to Mississippi at least once a month to see the girl friend's mom and it only slightly less fun than when I went to tuscaloosa to see a friend's cousin. I guess it was cool seeing Bryant-Denny but other than that I played super Mario after walking around town to see what there was to do.

Great golf courses, two bowling alleys, two fairly large lakes, two rivers, nature trails, parks, great night life (I suggest the Alcove -- best beer selection in town), world-class university, low cost of living, good restaurants (sadly no great ones) -- and you couldn't find anything to do?

This speaks more to your inability to amuse yourself than it does any lack of Tuscaloosa.

Game was played in Arlington, TX. Almost as bad, but I guess I was naive in expecting to be a neutral factor.

Browncoat: no reason any player would want to go to Alabama

It's actually rather sad because while oversigning should lead to a loss of recruits, the Illusory Superiority effect causes the reverse and Saban takes full advantage. No player likes to think they're not good enough, so they all want to go to Alabama even though many of them wind up getting cast off. It's all kosher according to the NCAA, which is rather sickening considering Saban isn't in the least bit squeamish about throwing kids under the bus by the dozen every year. Damn if the product on the field isn't impressive, but I absolutely seethe at how Saban does it. I think it's a million times worse than some damn tattoos.

FWIW, since Hoke came on board Michigan started giving out four-year scholarships. If you're not good enough you don't play, but you're still a student of a top-tier school. They can't compete with what's essentially an NFL farm team.

And the problem is that you have to put up with Alabama people while doing all that, I had a bama fan come into our local bar this Wed and wouldn't shut up all while doing what sounded like Larry the cable guy voice and act. He didn't shut up until I told him I would rather talk to my GF over some drunk Larry he hick stereotype, he started to get up and say something until his buddy pulled him out. That is the typical bama fan to most of the world, loud/obnoxious/stupid, it amazed he even tried to get up to act like he wanted to square off since he was a good 6 inches shorter and had a good 20-30% points on the bmi scale.

I find most actual bama grads are much nicer(like most of the ones who post in cfb threads) but you guys should reign in those types.

So they tend to win more at home than they do on the road, and have a better point differential at home vs the road, and that proves that the labeling works? A 5.5-point win differential difference?

These people realize that the standards "home" points given in betting is three, right, meaning it should be roughly a six-point swing, right? They realize that Alabama (like most BCS powers) plays at least one patsy at home every year, and they typically don't go and play those teams on the road, right?

Maybe there is something to it, but you're going to need a hell of a lot more data than the insignificant crap they provided.
