In this day and age, is it asking too much to have at least one terrestrial-based video exceed the quality of the one being broadcast from Mars, 34 MILLION MILES from here?

WTF? We can find UFO but we can't find Obamas Birth Certificate?

It was after seeing this photographic proof that I realized the aliens and Bigfoot had been in cahoots all along.

Well, the viewing season that aliens have for Earth climaxes with the species-ending event in December, so it's only natural we'd have some early crowds.

... and not a damn one in focus.

In these days of digital cameras with auto-focus, it it too much to ask that they have an 'infinity' setting for distant objects.

And, amateur cameraman, zooming on a defocussed blob just makes for a bigger defocussed blob.

The one above the Olympic opening ceremony was later to be shown to be a blimp when other people with better cameras started sharing their photos.

I assume that's because we're still at the mercy of focusing light through a lens before all else.

What, no streetlight jokes? Fark, I'm disappointed in the lack of predictable jokes covered in a fine air of superiority.

Yea, I'd spot ELO before these idiots with the poor video cams spot an UFO.

Ahem.

The channel is also known for its enhancements of the more intriguing UFO videos, with the rover incidents getting the full treatment. That was no dead pixel anomaly. And, are there weather balloons on Mars?

No, no weather balloons on Mars, but there are streetlights. How the hell do you think the rover gets around at night?

But how was the month for anal probing. Subby is avoiding the tough questions.

I can't see the video because their stupid pop-up bar covers the play button, and there's no "x" to make it go away. So fark 'em.

The best things about UFOs is that they're still unidentified. The who what and how is still up in the air, so to speak :D (And if you insist, maybe even a why, but that's going too far imho)

The curiosity ones had me a little intrigued. I guess the still ones are dead pixels. As for the "moving" one that seems to be like a security cam taking a picture every second, supposedly each of those frames are 20 minutes apart? I haven't found verification of that yet. But oh well. All of these videos seem to be explainable. That "beam" one looked like a helicopter shining a spotlight from a distance to me.

That is actual history happening, like pictures from the Holocaust. However, using that picture and editing it to make a political statement over a tragedy is tasteless.

Nappy Imus: The best things about UFOs is that they're still unidentified.

Why not just automatically assume every UFO is aliens from space like all the other UFO enthusiasts. Otherwise, what's the point of giving it any attention.

I saw something I've never seen before on August 25th. Two big spheres floating in the sky above Seattle. Not self illuminated, barely visible against the night sky. I walked and stared, trying to figure out what they were and how they were moving, but they seemed stationary and too high up to be tethered to the ground. Moments later they were no longer there.

Alien cloaking technology works by making their ships look like blurry indistinct photographs. Then you take a poor picture of it and make it even worse.

They're like Bigfoot. He's a large out of focus monster. They probably researched him to make their cloaking devices.

2012-09-02 03:12:40 PM

Wonderment, awe, and the humility of realizing just how little we know about the universe around us?
