She's great in Raising Hope.

She's one of my favorite people in show business. She's one classy broad.

//Seconded on the "classy lady" comment.

I spent a months with her doing a movie about 30 years ago. She was truly a lovely person (trust me - spend a month of 12-14 hour days on a set doing little else apart from waiting to be called and eating below average catering - the real you will surface eventually)

/Ted Bessel was kind of a dick
//Levar Burton played a lot of pranks to relieve to pass the time
//Dolph Sweet rarely said two words to anyone he wasn't in a scene with
///Cloris never lost her sunny disposition.

I've always enjoyed her. She's so good at playing a mean nasty biatch. Just like Leah Remini.

I'd still blooch her.

I couldn't pictures Dolph Sweet so I looked him up, might this be why he was rather a quiet guy
.from wiki
Born Adolphus Jean Sweet in New York, New York, his father was an auto mechanic and his first ambition was playing football. In 1939, he attended the University of Alabama; however, he was called away from his education for a tour of duty in World War II with the US Army Air Force, serving as a navigator on B-24 Liberator bomber aircraft. During his service, he was shot down over Romania while flying on Operation Tidal Wave, and subsequently spent two years as a POW.

Cloris Leachman once said to Mary Tyler Moore, "If I had your tits, I could rule the world."

I see your point. So I went back and double checked, and it was Julie Harris said it to CL. Guess you can't trust everything you read.

So, are the guys behind the BBT going to finally bow to the inevitable and cast her as Sheldon's me-maw?

I have vibrators older than most of you. The difference is, most of my vibrators still work.

She was the best thing about the Bob Saget Roast.

I just got got the impression that she has a low tolerance for bullshiat and wasn't going to play along

In related news, Cloris Leachman is still alive! Cool!

I thought that was a great interview. She didn't sugar-coat anything, or make up some bullshiat to make the business sound like anything but what it really is: a business. Classy dame!

Exactly. The interviewer wasn't actually having a conversation with her. The questions were prepared ahead of time and he was clearly reading them off of index cards. He never followed up any of her comments, just moved on to the next question on his list. I applaud her for giving him exactly what he asked for and nothing more.

I'm completely spoiled by listening to Ron Bennington interview people. He's a master at it and I recommend listening.

I ran into her and Gregory Hines, whilst out drinking. They were both wonderful people!

/I would "time-machine" her so badly, the future would be altered

Yeah, most of the Playboy and Rolling Stone interviews I've read are a helluva lot better than that.

"The Last Picture Show" affected me greatly from the first time i viewed it many years ago. I consider it to be among the finest films I've seen in my life. I apologize for not being able to put into words how and why it means so much to me. It's like a deeply personal religious experience that changes your life, that you just don't know how to relate to others.

/i love you Ms. Leachman

Looks like the movie is The Acorn People (imdb link), in case anyone else is curious.
