Last night, I got talked into covering just the first hour of a shift for someone with a minor emergency. Wouldn't you know that just as they kicked off, I would get paged.

But I discovered one of the ER nurses is an Alabama fan. Who would have thought there would be another within 100 miles of me in Wyoming?

Is she hot? Pics or it didn't happen.

Seriously, Roll Tide. It's amazing how many places you run into Bama fans.

I went to Missouri with my wife for a funeral. Every time we stopped (I wore an Alabama cap) someone said "Roll Tide."
We're everywhere. But I'm impressed he works with another Bama fan in Wyoming; that's awesome. If she's hot it's a superduper bonus.

You know, just about a year ago, I was walking through the WalMart in Evanston (just 5 miles from the Utah border along I-80) when I saw a guy walking toward me in a Bama t-shirt. As I passed, I said "Roll Tide." He gave me a "Roll Tide" in return, and not another word passed between us. And no thought given to how another fan wound up 1800 miles from Tuscaloosa.

I can't believe Bama actually scored again. It looked more like they are trying to not get anyone hurt than it is that they are still playing against Michigan. Guess it helps them in case they lose one and try to get an all SEC final.

Up 22-0 is no time to go for it on 4th down. This is why I hate Oregon football.

Yeah I know but winning makes it more obvious, back in the late 90s there were practically none that would admit it.

Csb time, while in Amsterdam I went to work out as recovery and one of the ladies that was in there said "sic 'em" to me(had on a G shirt", she was obviously local and when I asked her how she knew about that she said it was the week she spent with her daughter who was going to UGA. It was kind of surreal since she was the one who told me about the satellite sports bar that made live bearable!

There is a difference between beating an inferior opponent, and embarrassing a team/being poor sports as winners.

Oklahoma state game was just sad, but Oregon is going for 2-pt conversions that aren't needed, going for it on 4th instead of punting while already up by 22 in the first quarter..... That's just horrible sportsmanship. Yeah yeah, I get it, if the other team doesn't like it, they should play better or not s heckle these games or whatever, that's just a list of poor excuses for being what amounts to a playground bully. It has nothing to do with sportsmanship.
