Gwendolyn: My theory is Les Miles sacrifices virgins to Satan. That man has more than his fair share of luck fall his way. It's incredible to watch sometimes.

Pretty common in the conference I'd say.

Alabama looks like they're in mid-season form already.

2012-09-01 09:06:05 PM
Oh, and they have to go to Notre Dame and OSU this year.

2012-09-01 09:07:54 PM

Krymson Tyde: Lets not get too exited about Bama's defense, Brent and Kirk, it's not like they're playing an SEC team.

Given what's going on over in Oxford, the Ole Miss game is going to involve 50 points. Minimum. And that might not include the defense.

Just catching up on the thread. As an Alabama alum, yeah, I hate Tennessee. Is it our biggest rivalry? Not now. But I was in school when UT was good and the matchup was always amazing. Spurrier was the face of evil incarnate though.

The Irish game is going to have a retarded over/under, if that offense can reproduce what they did today.

Tackled by his blocker.

Everyone including Southern Cal has looked a little (some a lot) sloppy in week 1, not Alabama

Whatever happened to that "Michigan defense playing with intensity" thing from the first drive?

Schedule a I-AA team, kidnap the cheerleaders.

\and ya, that hit was out of farking nowhere, but it was shoulder

BS penalty, he lead with his SHOULDER

2012-09-01 09:11:09 PM
What the fark kind of call was that? 15 yards for blocking?

Who gets more soaked, the cameraman for Jim Cantore or the one for Lou Holtz?

I'm loving this!

I'm glad Volunteers and Crimson Tide can agree Spurrier is a douche. Also he is extra hated in TN because he grew up here.

I miss having Keith Jackson call these games...

\can hear how he'd sound saying "FIRST dowwwwn Al-A-Ba-Ma!" now

Eh, I knew UM was going to get pasted tonight, it was just a matter of how bad. I hate both Bama and Michigan, so this game would both please and disappoint me no matter what happened.

It is good to see denard is still throwing floaters when under pressure, should make msu's job easier come that game.

Side note, UM's jerseys are getting uglier every year. The transition to 'highlighter yellow' is complete, and it is godawful.

2012-09-01 09:12:47 PM
Michigan blows goats.

2012-09-01 09:13:09 PM
Did Denard switch teams? That throw looked like one of his...

2012-09-01 09:13:48 PM
Oh wow
The only question left is if it will Bama pitch a shutout or will Michigan get a field goal somehow

2012-09-01 09:14:23 PM
I guess holding the Tide to a field goal is a victory now....

My friends and I used to gather and watch college football games in college (hey, not like we had a team, gotta do something). We literally used to greet each other by saying "Whooaaaaa Nellie!"

Sorry, Krymson Tyde. But if I still have a pulse on the 3rd Saturday, I will be by cookiefleck's side in Neyland. Already got my tickets.

36, one week younger than Peyton, as a matter of fact. We were just geeks like that.

Mississippi State with their second Pick 6 of the game. Mississippi State 49, Jackson State 6.

It's nice being able to stomp your FCS schools. You know, instead of lose to them like we did in 2004.

Yeah, majored in Jack Daniels the first go around. Now I'm working towards an MBA.

They might've had it last time if it weren't for the offsides.
