davidphogan: the_ed_dawg: I don't know about anybody else, but I'm really looking forward to Oregon-Arkansas State tonight. If Malzahn runs to hurry-up, no-huddle all game against Oregon, we could see 100 points from the Ducks.

It could be a fun game.

As a Michigan Stat alumnus I'm looking forward to seeing whether John L. Smith slaps himself during the post-game press conference

Either

1) the people of central Florida are getting smarter

or

2) coming off a mediocre 7-6 season, the fans aren't even sure anymore that UF can even beat a MAC team

/probably 2

/ Gator fanatics are like that scene in 1984" "If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever"...can't enjoy that if the team is crappy

BGSU isn't well known for its academics. I mean, our crowd's chant is a bunch of nonsense words followed by "Roll along, BG warriors", despite the fact that our team name is not now, nor has it ever been, the warriors.

Still, AY ZIGGY ZOOMBA!

/I know we're not winning this, but holy hell would it be awesome if we did

I'm going to begin consumption, and that in a heavy manner, about 8:00 PM.

yes, yes it was

WhyteRaven74: geom_00: Oklahoma is favored by a record 67.5 points

That's the blow out game of the day, I meant a game where the score is something like 66 to 60,.

Well...of you count Big Ten basketball...Northwestern 42 Syracuse 41

Don't forget... Penn State won a basketball game...where they only scored 39 points

TheDumbBlonde: PredDawg8: Side note: I like the new mid-field logo for Florida. Hate the new F logos they've put on the 30's.

The F's are the old ones, but I'm concerned about their lack of game than what's decorating the Swamp.

Personally, I'm glad they got the F out of there.

/gator logo looks better at midfield

I think I've seen Optimist League soccer games with a better kicking game than Bowling Green.

I like that he's the "short" field goal kicker, meaning that this is specifically his only job in life.

/Sadness

BGSU just needs a kicker... and a break! FUMBLE... what a game.

a college team without a good kicker? That's actually frighteningly common these days.

Safe to say the entire Florida side of the field is four-down territory for Bowling Green the rest of the way.

And Northern Iowa is making it a game. Come on, Badgers.

Just ask Michigan, although based on last season it looks like they finally found a decent one.

heh I love when it's early in the season and it's really warm and they show the refs taking drinks from water bottles.

hell the Alabama LSU game last year, was a nice example of bad kicking.

I will apologize for making fun of the person that "was the only one who wanted to watch" BGSU/Florida, which is now the most entertaining game going.

/though BGSU keeps f*cking itself
//oh, good, fortunately ESPN can still give the SEC team in the matchup a sloppy beej even when they're struggling against an inferior team
///and of course, there goes the game

Look, you come here to represent the SEC, you've got to bring it stronger than that. Even if your state makes a bastardized, charcoal-filtered whiskey.

I remember thinking how a team could be called the best in the country when it can't make a damn field goal.
