Armscor's had a hard enuff time keeping production up with monsoons and shiat, last thing they need is a tsunami...

This quake really wasn't a big deal. The house wobbled gently for a couple of minutes, but there was no damage to anything. My cats didn't even notice. Of course, I'm in western Visayas. Things might have been scarier in the east.

Interestingly, I was living in Baltimore when the big one hit Virginia last year. That one was shorter, but more intense.

In related news, I'm currently devising a new earthquake intensity scale based on how many of my cats freak out and poop on the floor when the shaking starts.

5.8 Virginia quake = 1 cat
7.6 Samar quake = 0 cats

These are the only two data points I have so far.
