Gyrfalcon: Do you think alcohol was involved?

FTA: "As soon as officers left the first time she turned it back up," Newman said, adding that alcohol may have played a role in the series of arrests.

What is Newman's fark handle?

6.5 arrests per hour? That should have earned her a certificate of some kind.

Now that's a stiff upper lip.

FTA: "When I walked up to the screen door at the side of Joyce's house, I saw that the stereo was placed near the doorway and the speakers were pointed out the door," Blonigen wrote in his affidavit.

It's nice that she and the officer are on a first-name basis.

Hell, if she blasts "Highway to Hell" in the morning, I'd go over and party with her. She sounded cool until the assault thing.

Oh, I suspect down at the dispatch office they get the call and the dispatchers say "Available unit to respond to 123 Crazybiatch Avenue," and there is about two minutes of dead air as everyone waits for someone else to catch the call.

"My iPod starts at AC/DC and ends at Zeppelin"

So his iPod only goes up to 'L'? Wouldn't ZZ Top have been a better choice there?

Umm...I meant an arrest every 6.5 hours. The unexpected double whammy of math solving and an unrepentant female troll is to blame.

That all sounds about right for Epping. I wish she was smiling so we could see her pearly white.

Just another certifiable, off her meds. And why wasn't she made to cool her heels for 36 hours or sent straight to the psychiatric ward with the first arrest?

You need to look up 5150 laws or whatever the involuntary committment laws are in your state. They're pretty strict, and you can't toss somebody in the psych ward unless they're clearly a threat to themselves or others. Playing loud music doesn't qualify for that.

Around here the psych ward is dually used as for that and for drunks to dry out. I've known guys who go into there for a few days, and end up not getting any sleep due to all the screaming from the legit crazies. She maybe should have gone in maybe after the 3rd arrest.
