badaboom: Vodka Zombie: badaboom: Just look at how awesome the economy is.

Okay...

Awesome? No.

Better than it was four years ago?

Hmm... How to answer... hmm... Pretty sure someone more ambitious than myself has a graph or numbers or whatever to point out why you're a retard for thinking the economy is bad.

Now. Go to your room.

So I am sure that the DNC will be running on this outstanding economy right? Can't wait to see that.

I'm sure Romney will run on his awesome job creation record right? Can't wait to see that.

urbangirl: This election is about a 3 letter word: J-O-B-S.

Fine.

And the month after Obama took office, the country lost 740,000 jobs. Now we've gained an average of 151,000 jobs every month in 2012.

Sure it ain't where we want it to be, but it is significantly better and there's no honest way for you to deny that. But hey, you keep farking that chicken.

//btw that's four letters.

Yeah, cause every poll out there shows the American people think Obama has done a bang up job in job creation. They love the unemployment rate. Go ahead, run on Obama's job creation record.

2012-08-31 10:53:56 AM

badaboom: So your argument is shut up? Got it. But I am sure you are right. The American people love the job the President has done on the economy. He gets an A+.

For you, yes, shut up. With regards to the economy, President gets and A+, Congress gets F, Supreme Court gets a D. Overall government: C-.

Running the government is a team sport. Unfortunately, we have two losers, the congress and the supreme court. Trade them for some fresh meat and we'll be doing well.

I love the smell of sarcasm in the morning.

Fine. Vote in Romney. Ain't sh*t gonna change. Why would a big business man helps us out? I would even go as far as saying it will start to get worse. There is no incentive for his corporate overlords to change anything for us. Big business profits are up. Bankers are rolling it again. Tax rates are at a all time low for them and the elected officials will fight tooth and nail to keep the cuts for them.

But go for it. The demented side of me kinda wants to see it. Then y'all can eat sh*t. But that was rude. Have a good one.

I had no idea the job of an American president was to 'stop all the turmoil in the world'. Pretty tall order there.

That would be great to run on. Would love to see Obama get up to the podium and say that America no longer plays a role in peace and stability in the world. Wonder what the slogan for that would be. "America: We no longer matter"?

Keep movin those goalposts.

/You're not very good at this if even I can call you out.

Slaves2Darkness: badaboom: qorkfiend: badaboom: Can't wait till the Democratic Convention when the Dems get up and crow about their achievements over the past 4 years. I mean it is a no brainer. Best President ever. Just look at how awesome the economy is. And there is virtually no more turmoil in the world. Yep, what a GREAT job this President has done. He deserves another 4 years. Heck, he deserves another 40 years! He's done an AMAZING job!

Thanks, son. Now go to your room, adults are talking.

Love it! You simply can not defend the President's record so your argument is SHUT UP! Love it.

Run on BLAME BUSH AND SHUT UP! What a great platform.

The liberal argument: Shut Up! Link

Bwhahahahahahahahaahh!

Man no wonder you Republitards loved Eastwood you all argue with a non-existant Obama. We have defended and explained the Presidents record, but sadly you Republitards stick your fingers in your ears every time and yell "NYNYNYNYNYNYN I CAN'T Hear You!"

So, lets go over it again.
22 straight months of positive job growth.
Dow Jones over 13,000 it was over 8000 in 2008
Positive, if slight GDP growth
Osama Bin Laden dead
Al Qaeda leadership destroyed, terrorists on the run, scattered, disorganized
Obamacare
Two entire sectors of the economy saved, financial and car manufacturing

Do I have to go on or are you going to continue to act like a child and insist the President has done nothing and had no achievements to trumpet? I know it is your Republitard talking points, but hey let's talk about your guys record.

tens of thousands of jobs destroyed
billions off shored into foreign accounts
Bain Capital saved through government bail outs
Salt Lake Olympics saved through government bail outs

Hmmm....which record looks better?

They'll be running on a BETTER economy, yes. And, rightly so since, well, they fixed it in spite of Republican obstruction. Your problem, sad, little person, is that you think you want the economy to be hauled back from near rubble to outstanding in just four years, and that's just not possible. Especially since you have no idea what an economy actually IS.

Now, if I give you some crayons, will you please leave the adults alone?

So your argument is shut up? Got it. But I am sure you are right. The American people love the job the President has done on the economy. He gets an A+.

My argument seems to be that you have no idea what the hell you're talking about, and you're sounding like an intellectual infant who can only parrot the talking points of his far more thoughtless superiors because he's too dense to embrace reality and think for himself.

So, yeah. You're a child who wants to vote for children.

P.S. Do I have to "love" the job the president has done on the economy in order to vote for him? Do you see the hazard of letting these binary absolutes dictate your opinion?

badaboom: This election is about a 3 letter word: J-O-B-S.

Really? You mean like the fact that private sector jobs are up. And the only reason total jobs aren't up is because of the loss of public sector jobs, which your side equate to useless sinecures that are destroying America? So, Obama has created the jobs you want, and gotten rid of the ones you don't, and this makes you butthurt?

Also: Obamacare, only unpopular until you tell people what's in it. DADT: the patriotic, equality-loving people Americans give a crap about it - why do you hate America and the freedoms we hold so dear? Was Benedict Arnold your great-great-great-grandfather or something? Do you secretly lust for being taken anally by Idi Amin?

They have been running on that. Millions of real jobs which were added under Obama. Surely you are familiar with the bikini graph?

Romney's been running on 12 million jobs he will create. If put Obama's real numbers against Romney's made up numbers, Romney wins (wins your vote anyways apparently).

..with people who don't know what it actually is. Most of the people with an unfavorable attitude towards "Obamacare" just say "it's bad", but if you break it down piece by piece without mentioning the scary word, they're in favor of all or most of its components.

DADT. Really, do you think the majority of Americans give a crap about this?

So civil rights isn't a big deal? 'kay.

Osama: So now you guys want to run on the pro-military tough guy platform? You guys make it sound like Obama cracked Osama;s neck with his bare hands and then ripped out his still beating heart.

I actually think the whole Osama thing should be downplayed because it detracts from the administration's other successes re: northern Africa, Iraq, the Korean peninsula, etc

This election is about a 3 letter word: J-O-B-S.

Yes, Obama has a perception problem with this and deserves some fault for not taking a firmer stance and perhaps stronger methods in dealing with a Congress actively working to harm the economy.

Your points are valid, but thus far Obama has done a poor job convincing anyone what you say is true. Perception is reality. And most Americans have a poor opinion on Obamacare. As far as civil rights issues, DADT falls pretty low on most Americans radar. DADT and gay marriage are not major issues for the vast majority of Americans and if you look at recent state elections (including California) most Americans are still on the opposite side of the President. You are right, he should stop spiking the football on Osama. Gonna be hard to convince the public he is the bad ass he wants to be perceived as AND convince the far left that he is not a war monger (drone strikes, Gitmo still open, still in Afghanistan).

Here's another analogy. Sitting Presidents are the defending Champs. You are supposed to be way ahead at this point. And you are not. But go ahead and call this one over. Teams do great when they are overconfident. I am sure that's the best way to get your side to the booths.

OK the RNC convention wasn't the worst thing ever. But I was probably below average for a political convention. Romney needed at least a better than average convention. He did not get that.

Does that mean it's over? No. The debates could be a big change to things but Obama is going to have an advantage there.

Seriously does it every bother you that you can't answer a question like that? I see this all the time with Republicans. You ask them why they feel a certain way and they can't answer. Does that ever make you pause and reevaluate why you believe something other then someone told you should feel that way?

Well, Ryan did give the least truthful speech ever in a convention. But I guess that's not technically something that went wrong; he meant to do that.
