I can't stand Yoko. She was overrated as an artist and she should have never been allowed near a microphone.

But Paul broke up the Beatles.

I mean her singing SUCKS but I rather like how she has handled remembering John Lennon's memory over the years. Being very careful on who can use his music, Strawberry Field in Central Park, various things she has said over the years...

Paul McCartney on the other hand seems to have become a massive DB over the years

Gosh, how cute! A family unit famous for who she farked and gave birth to is against a PROVEN SAFE science for helping with our energy needs.

The science is settle on fracking. It works, it's safe and it has lowered CO2 in the atomosphere.

What a bunch of Luddites.

I had a dream last night about going back in time to about 1946. It was one of those odd "montage dreams" where you rapidly skip from scene to scene. The three scenes I recall are: Telling the State Dept that Klaus Fuchs is smuggling secrets to the Soviets, telling Kennedy to not go to Dallas, and preventing John Lennon from meeting Yoko Ono.

Ono and Lennon say the drilling can cause oil wells to leak harmful methane into public water supplies.

no it doesn't

Paul was always a massive DB.

Yoko just whores out John whenever her bank account runs low.

For frac jobs there needs to be well over 20m worth of equipment at the well head. Most small companies do not have the cash to do that. Nor do they have the proprietary technology that HES has developed over the years.

Astrid Kirchherr broke up the Beatles. In fairness, an aneurysm would have quickly done so if she hadn't.

Actually in some cases this is true. Drilling the well can establish a channel between shallow gas pockets and aquifers. If the cement seal on the well doesn't keep the formations isolated from each other (note: this is different from keeping the well isolated from the formations) then methane migration can occur. It's worth noting the methane isn't toxic and is only harmful if it accumulates in high concentrations somewhere like your basement causing an explosion, and to remediate it you just need add ventilation. Of course this entire process is completely unrelated to hydraulic fracturing, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It has been an issue in places like Pennsylvania (where there are a lot of shallow coal seams and other gas pockets) for decades, especially in older abandoned wells.

does Carst topography have anything to do with it too? Almost all houses where I lived had well water, and we couldn't have trash dumps because they were afraid of what would seep into the water.

She's just blaming the oil companies because they are handy.

"Hey, did you just cut loose with some harmful methane, Yoko?"

"Ono, it was the fracking oil companies."
