Exactly. Not only is he a drunk dipshiat that fell to his death, he spilled his beer. Rookie all the way.

no indication of what team the man was a fan of in the story .

considering the game was in texas i doubt it was a vikings fan. plus article says nothing about which team he was there for nice try for the cheapshot submitter. plus i doubt any sane mn fan would travel to texas to watch the vikings play the final pointless pre-season game.

It's entirely possible- and stay with me here- that he or someone from his group had a Vikings jersey on. People sometimes move and yet keep rooting for their hometown teams. Crazy thought, I know.

And, no one is saying it's impossible. Just highly unlikely.

And sometimes people are fans of teams from cities they've never been to. I met a bunch of Chiefs fans last year who have never even been to Kansas City, let alone Arrowhead Stadium. But their whole house is Chiefs decorated and they wear Chiefs jerseys while watching the games on TV in southern California.

Poor bastards.

Considering that probably thirty percent of Houston's population was not born here, it's very possible it was a Vikings fan.

He went flying through the air doin 90 mile an hour
After losing balance tryna save his beer
He was found at the bottom with his hand on Budweiser
They all seen it whether he was steer or queer.
Drunks dont ever trust your lives to Texas handrailing
Their code is lax and they dont care at all
If you cant hold yer liquor without climbin like a monkey
They build a statue near the site of your downfall.

Viking fan? Idiot tries to slide down a three story high escalator hand rail at a Texan-Viking preseason game in Houston. I believe the dearly departed was a member of the Texans' fan club because even the stupidest, goddamned Viking fan known to man would probably not travel to Houston to see the Vikings get beat in a game featuring third and fourth stringers which means absolutely nothing.

I'm a Texans season ticket holder who is a Chargers fan, and I took a Vikings fan to the game. What's your point?

Didn't 3M move a lot of their operations from MN to TX and brought a lot of their employees with them? I remember reading something about that in regards to the Austin Ice Bats hockey team which were getting a lot of fan support from those transplants
