They immediately lost me with the text at the beginning. They stated the temp of the lava in degrees C, but then gave an air temp in Fahrenheit. If you can't keep your units consistent between two sentences, I don't take your work seriously.

I figured it was done for the layman:

Lava = incomprehensibly hot (4-digit temperature in a foreign unit)
Ambient = pretty cold (20 below freezing)

/I mean, really, given how they trod all over the audio track with their incessant rambling, they clearly weren't part of the AV team who put this together.
