Fat Tire is one of the most overrated beers in America, anyway, so this may actually make it slightly better.

New Belgium has so many damn good beers, it's not even funny. How Fat Tire became their flagship beer is beyond me.

Having lived both on the west coast and midwest, I can tell you. You will be hard pressed to find anything other than Fat Tire on the west coast.

I mean, where did you live on the west coast? Depending on where you are, the local beer selection is great (though hop-heavy IPAs abound).
