She swallowed the large weird-looking blob and became one herself. It's the Mushroom People.

Was there a slightly over ripe, but still edible strawberry sitting next to said blob?

A local radio announcer told a story about Ron Artest from when he played for the Sacramento Kings. He once called an exterminator to come out and get rid of some "snake eggs" in his yard. As you might guess, when the exterminator arrived, he picked up said "snake eggs" and pronounced them mushrooms.

I had never heard of the title 'mushroom hunter' until last year. One of my teachers was getting to know us and said, 'Raise your hand if you are a mushroom hunter.' The teacher and 4 other students in class raised their hands. It's going out and searching for wild mushrooms to harvest/eat, well that's what the kids and teacher in my class did it for since they were country folk. I'm sure there is a different subset in search of psychotropics.

A buddy and I took a fishing trip about 15 years ago. We left Chicago on a Friday night and drove around the south end of Lake Michigan up to Cadillac Michigan.

And all I remember about the trip is the chain-saw-art mushroom lawn ornaments and all the locals saying, "You here for the mushrooms?"

And puffballs aren't even weird mushrooms. They're just fun mushrooms. Ever kicked a dry one and watched the spores puff out? It's like a little fungus explosion!

/Easily amused.

No, Steven McQueen and the local teenagers at the malt shop froze it to death.
