Whale trifecta in play?

That's a really farking big seagull.

More dead shiatehawks? Sounds good.

I endorse this action and you gladly lend a hand in blasting these flying abominations.

More proof that seagulls are evil. They steal ice cream cones too.

Uh, poison at the garbage dump? Or do the Argies just like shooting moving targets that much? Or is there something other than gulls living on the garbage?

/he asked, not really wanting to know

Splat knew it would come to this. That is why he shoots seagulls out of the sky with a shot of water from his blowhole. Filthy dirty birds that can't even burp.

If the garbage dump is what's attracting them, then why aren't they just eating at the dump, where the food is way easier to get at?

I think this is why we had to stop the DC Fark parties too.

Should you ever need to, seagulls are hilariously vulnerable to the old "tie a piece of fishing line to two different pieces of bread, and throw them simultaneously to two different seagulls" trick.

Or so I've heard.

Shoot, get me my 12-gauge and a bus ticket to Argentina, Pablo! Can we make this a competition? This is going to be 100% more fun than Duck Hunt.

If only they'd kept their FAL variants, I'd imagine .308 reducing seagulls to the size of shiat pieces in a fart

Fark those birds. Waste 'em!

Holy shiat! A seagull! Get in the car! !

"Environmentalists say the only way to effectively reduce the seagull population is to deny the birds food by closing open-air garbage dumps around the gulf and stopping people from dumping fish parts."

This is true. But in the meantime blasting the seagulls is still a good idea.

Those poor whales. I thought chiggers and mosquitos were bad.

Seagulls (and pigeons) are nothing but flying footballs. If you see one moseying around on the ground, line yourself up and try to punt the farker.

Yes they do.

Do a Google search for "Argentina bird hunting" or "Argentina wingshooting"

If you want to blast a shiatload of doves, ducks, or pigeons, Argentina is the place to go.

Because the food isn't way easier to get at, at the dump. Too many other seagulls fighting over the trash, not to mention the measures environmentalists keep taking to drive them away "for their own good." Tearing a chunk out of a whale is much easier, now that one gull discovered that, despite a whale's huge size, they can't actually fight back against predators that can fly, and the rest of the gulls are learning this by watching the others.

/poor whale watchers, learning things about nature they don't want to believe
//should have stuck to National Geographic or Animal Planet TV shows

Poison tends to go where you don't want it to go. IE, the poisoned seagulls fly off before dying and get eaten by a fox or someone's pet. Also, shooting is more humane than poison.

Funny, according to the header there's a name of someone on my ignore list in there somewhere, but I don't know who it is.

When I was 13 I was in my school's Ecology club (shut up) and we toured the county dump. They told us they sprayed some kind of substance made from grapes/grape skins on the garbage every day and the gulls hated it. There were still some there, but not nearly the flocks you'd expect. It was maybe 20-30 min from Lake Ontario so yeah, I hail from an 'inland' region with gulls.

It's nature. shiat like this happens. Why do people feel so compelled to act on things like this? Leave them alone.

There need to be open seasons for seals and seagulls. Both are overpopulating the Atlantic shores. I love to hunt crows which have no food quality, but they are scavengers just like seagulls. The seals are descimating the striped bass populations up and down the coast and tear apart lobster traps. Only problem with killing something inedible is it also goes into the landfill.

I've hated seagulls ever since I was at Cape Canaveral. I set my hot dog down on a table to take a pic of my friends. A gull came down and swiped it when my back was turned.
Sneaky little bastards. I swear its friends were laughing at me.

Did you RTFA? Their numbers are driven up by human activity, and are being forced to find other food sources.

Personally, I say the 'environmentalists' way is a little short-sighted. The sailors are going to dump scraps somewhere, and shutting down an already existing dump is just going to make a new one. And its not like they're numbers would drop by magic. They'd still be dying, just painfully starving, or they'd find other sources.

I've seen a seagull take a hotdog right off a hot charcoal grill on the eastern Shore of MD. fricking sky rats
