PluckYew: seventypercent: IAmRight: Hey, are anyone else's players having to come off the field and sit out a play when they lose their helmet on a play? I swear this is only occurring in Idaho. It just happened in S. Carolina - Vandy. The announcers read the rule, but the SC receiver didn't come out. Guess he was supp posed to be evaluated for a concussion.
IAmRight: Oh wait, I forgot SEC refs don't give a sh*t about rules when the higher-ranked team needs help.
PluckYew: QFT however, the Pac-12 refs screw up calls that screw the higher ranked team.
IAmRight: lol @ Idaho homer announcers: "that shouldn't be pass interference, the receiver still had a chance at the ball"...um, when the safety comes over and hits the WR before the ball gets there, that's going to be PI every time. Holy sh*t, it wasn't even close.
ongbok: Was the ball in the air when he hit him? In college you can hit the receiver all you want as long as the ball isn't in the air. Also in college and the NFL if both players are looking at the ball and going for it, they have discretion as whether or not to call interference if there is contact.
IAmRight: Whoa, if a helmet comes off, the player has to come out for a play? That's a really dumb rule.
bel4sucks: Damn Vandy got farked over.
A Fark Handle: it's not a dumb rule. a helmet that is fitted properly and secured correctly rarely will come off during the course of play. however, if you watch players during close-ups you'll notice that many choose not to secure all of the chinstrap snaps and many players prefer looser helmets that are easier to slide on and off. both of those behaviors lessen whatever protection a helmet gives. if football leagues are going to pretend to be serious about head injuries getting players to wear proper fitting and correctly secured helmets is a must. hopefully having to come out because they failed to secure their helmet and it got knocked off will be enough encouragement for players to buckle all of the snaps and wear correct size headgear.
seventypercent: bel4sucks: Damn Vandy got farked over.
MBK: Mike Leach got farked over in Texas Tech.Remember when that was the biggest controversy in football?
A Fark Handle: i thought the fact that no one investigated craig james for killing five hookers while at smu was the biggest controversy in football.
Owangotang: Ahh BIG TIME COLLEGE FOOTBALL, too big to fail even when confronted with a child rape coverup. WEEEHOOO!!! Look at them there boys tackle! YeeeeeeHAWWWWW
AliceBToklasLives: So when does the University of Phoenix play?
seventypercent: AliceBToklasLives: So when does the University of Phoenix play?I believe they're playing online.
ModernPrimitive01: I hope the refs get reprimanded for that.
mentallo69: A Fark Handle: Pincy: Oregon Ducks represent!!!oregon ducks represent everything that comes with johnny come lately nike whore ignorant bandwagon jumping fans.I live in Seattle, you have no idea how many bandwagon Oregon Duck fans there are! It's unbelievalbleLargest Sheep fan base ever!
bionicjoe: So NO ONE is watching this BYU game? It's kinda fun.
IAmRight: Marquess Wilson makes a great play in the end zone, Pac-12 refs Pac-12 ref it, call a completely nonexistent hold to nullify it.
AliceBToklasLives: That was a hell of a catch. Too bad the PAC12 hired NFL replacement refs.
IAmRight: /more importantly, like I said, EWU is f*cking Idaho's world up despite a ton of penalties and some dumb mistakes
IAmRight: ModernPrimitive01: I hope the refs get reprimanded for that.Um, you mean rewarded? They did what they always do, f*ck Vandy to help out whatever high-ranked team they're playing to prevent an embarrassing loss for the SEC.
bionicjoe: O Rly?Wha channel?
BigJake: But the 8-game SEC schedule is the toughest schedule in the world! Except Vandy. And Kentucky. And Ole Miss. And Mississippi State. And
IAmRight: Cougs out there Cougin' it. Might skip watching the rest of this game. Wife getting induced tomorrow morning. Should probably rest up before that.
IAmRight: Idaho's dome warehouse is retarded. College football does not belong in domes.
