"Obama has emboldened our enemies!" By MERCILESSLY HUNTING DOWN AND KILLING THEM, yes.

I almost feel sorry for McCain, Hawky McWarhawk, having to play the foreign policy angle of all things on Obama. Almost.

Being "on the right side of history" is funny when you frame conservatives' views of gays through the lens of racial civil rights of 50 year years ago.

The Great EZE: Jesus Christ, John, you sure love war for being a former POW.

I don't recall him being that much of a hawk in 2008.

/Yes, I remember the song.

I'm convinced that the John McCain of 2000 was abducted and replaced by neo-con aliens. It's the only explanation.

I sincerely mean this; you'd think a man that physically and mentally scarred by war would not advocate sending more of our young people off to die in the Middle East. You'd really think so. That part of McCain's belief system makes me physically ill.

Corvus: Psst in most state what you list is not statutory rape either. You should understand how the laws actually work.

Hmm you sound very concerned.

I know each state has different laws concerning this, but I don't have the time to read up on all the states laws concerning every little things. I try to know the laws that affect me and my family locally. I am not a lawyer and probably would not understand most of what they state anyway. I try to keep it simple.

I'm not concerned as to say, but I have not heard any of the allegations that are being hurled at Republicans and am looking for facts that back up your claims. As you know many people don't care about facts, but I am someone who likes to see the whole picture before making up my mind on something or delving into an argument or debate, like so many here on fark.

McCain just wants us to love Iran.

With bombs.

"America must be on the right side of history"

says the guy from the party that wants to outlaw gays, make women have rape babies, and deny healthcare to our own citizens.

TheBeastOfYuccaFlats: Three Crooked Squirrels: TheBeastOfYuccaFlats: Ahh, endorsing military involvement in Iran and Syria. Man is it good that he didn't get elected.

Can you imagine how many simultaneous wars we'd be in right now?

Ironically, the employment rate would probably be much lower due to extensive government spending on equipment and personnel.

And Fark would be deserted after the draft has to be reinstated.

Try going to a rock concert there. However, it's actually an improvement over the old Curtis Hixon Hall. The acoustics there were AWFUL.

The weirdest thing about McCain's speech is that he's repeatedly saying that he trusts Mitt Romney...except he distrusted him so much 4 years ago that he chose Sarah Palin to be his VP choice.

Not good enough to be his VP, but good enough to be President. Uh, o.k.

Air the footage in black and white, replace Iran with the Soviet Union, and it would sound like any hawkish Cold War speech from the 1950s.

Well, you'd also have to replace Russia with... Russia?

It was a weird re-run, all the same.

At the DNC, I'd love to see some of those speakers asking why the GOP hates our soldiers. You know, since they want them to get blown to smithereens in more pointless, wasteful wars.

Matthews is usually bombastic and sometimes over the top, but he's spot on right now with regards to McCain's speech.

One can only assume that McCain looked at Romney's tax returns as part of the vetting process. One look and they said "Yeah, right, let's go with the tits."
