So. Much. Lying. Can't do it tonight.

2012-08-29 06:56:03 PM
My question is where everyone is watching it tonight? The only place I could find coverage was MSNBC. Both CNN AND Fox News had Hurricane coverage. Though to be fair I was fairly late to the party.

Will they feed Condi like an animal?

Why would I watch the coverage when I can just read Fark commentary? Probably healthier for me in the long run.

2012-08-29 06:57:14 PM
Never mind the GOP, we've got the Paralympic opening ceremony, where they've just played Spasticus Austisicus by Ian Dury. You heard.

2012-08-29 06:57:31 PM
I can't wait to hear the GOP's bold plan to restore America!

CSPAN should have unabridged coverage. They did last night.

There should also be a youtube channel.

Interesting...a Ron Paul video. Why not have him speak? Afraid he's a loose cannon? This smacks of appeasement.

Not going to be watching, but I'll make some popcorn for this thread.

Nuts.

I like how they have given up on the "technically true but ostensibly false" misleading talking points and have just started openly lying. I think the GOP is just trolling the press at this point. WHO WILL CALL THEM ON THE LIES!

How many times is McCain going to call Romney a "maverick"?

There we go, yeah... I landed on C-Span just about ten seconds ago.... Not HD for some reason. Hate that shiat.

Sorry, everyone under 40's talking about Obama's Reddit appearance today.

Better luck in '16, GOP.

I'm going for CSPAN online tonight. No talking heads while people are giving speeches. http://www.c-span.org/RNC/Live/

I thought Ryan was inspiring. He did a good job of defining himself outside the Obama campaign's narrative as a thoughtful, intelligent, caring individual.

I think this speech goes a long way toward validating him as an excellent pick for v.p.

What, too soon?

Last night was quite enough for me.

It all boils down to nothing but a big show.

If you want to put on a big show, take your convention to New Orleans, and help with the relief effort. Televise it, even.

If Big Government is the bogeyman, then show us all how individuals can pitch in and make our country better.

But you won't. You'll talk about the same old bullshiat you always talk about, cheer and clap, and Romney will be the candidate.

Whoop-de-farking-do.

Earlier today C-Span re-ran Sarah Palin's speech. The crowd was rabid in support of her.

One of the "We Built It" or whatever it was small business owners got over 800k in guaranteed government loans and collaborated with 2 government agencies to improve their products.

Discuss the hypocrisy/derp.

I could stomach last night with some good humor. You Farkers got me through it.

Tonight....I just can't do it. I just can't sit through so much BS for so long.

It's Bourbon and the second season of "The Young Ones" for me.

It is said that Rice and McCain are there to draw contrast with Obama's foreign policy.

Brilliant. Ms. Asleep at the Wheel and Mr. BombombombombombIran telling gleefully listening idiots that Mitt Romney is somehow a genius in foreign policy.

I probably won't be watching until after 9:30 or 10:00...Mrs. Earguy can't handle the derp of either convention.

A better question would be, how long until Fox News and their cohorts decry the journalist who calls out the GOP on their lies and/or the news organization they work for as ZOMGLIBERAL?

Frank and Beans: Republicans are waging a War on Women.

Other than the abortion issue, how are they waging a war on women? Are they removing the right to vote? Are they loosing jobs if the Republicans win? Exactly what are they going to loose?

I'm interested in your facts on the issue.

/I'm being serious. How are women going to suffer.
