she does anything he asks of her?

Exactly WHAT do you ask your female quarterback to do?

2012-08-29 12:43:23 PM
Eh, I'd penetrate her backfield and split her tight end.

/next year.

2012-08-29 01:04:03 PM
She's no Kathy Ireland but I'd hit it.

2012-08-29 01:04:27 PM
She got to play because the coach had already sacked her and she had to give up a ball.

2012-08-29 01:05:15 PM
if she were a TOTAL bad ass she'd be a starter.

Ugh, enough about Tebow already!

tommyl66: Ugh, enough about Tebow already!

She's probably a better QB than Tebow. Not with the rushing and all, but probably a better classic QB.

I'll be impressed with progress in athletic opportunities for females when schools like Georgia Tech have dance squads composed entirely of students attending the school on dance scholarships rather than having dance squads made up entirely of unpaid, non-students who are required to attend all practices and games and sign a contract that includes a morality clause all for the "honor" of dancing for Georgia Tech.

The occasional female reluctantly allowed to participate in a male dominated sport does not constitute equal opportunity or access.

I was going to make a joke about how she throws like a girl, but in that entire video she doesn't make a single pass.

ManateeGag: Exactly WHAT do you ask your female quarterback to do?

Call the cadence.
Run the ball.
Hand off the ball.
Throw the ball.
Blame the receiver for dropping the ball.

Defenses have been saying for years that, with all the rule changes to protect the quarterback, they should just make them wear a dress. Well, now they have.

2012-08-29 01:09:39 PM
Good for her.

I'd like to give her a sack, intentionally ground her, and then qb sneak her to my locker room.

your comment is still very much valid.

Oh_Enough_Already: If she scores, do her teammates still get to slap her on the ass?

Yes, but they have to blush when they realize what they did. And mumble "sorry". And she has to be totally cool with it. Now, the real question is, how will the guys react when she pats THEM on the ass?

Read the defense and audible to a quick slant.

Part of her motive to play football is to show college basketball scouts her athletic ability.

"I think schools will see that I can play all sports," said the 5-foot-6, 160-pound senior, whose primary sport is basketball. "Maybe being different will help. They'll remember me as the girl that plays football."

First off, you've obviously never heard of title 9.

Secondly, dance is not a sport.

Thirdly, it's not the school's fault women suck at sports that people actually care about.

When did Chris Christie start coaching HS football?

If she can play and make positive contributions to her team, more power to her. If she stinks, then she's there for reasons that have nothing to do with ability. Which of those is true is entirely up to her.

I'm sorry. I know this article is about you being a woman and playing football, but all I did was flip through the pictures to see your ass and see if I could get a reasonable estimate of how big your tits are.

Next female article please. I'm done here.

And when a dance team can bring the university tens of millions of dollars each year, you will see it become a fully recognized college sport. It has to bring in revenue if it's going to be a full program with scholarships etc. Remember, college athletics is an anti-education, for-profit endeavor. And it's not about the kids

Yeah, but if she shows up and plays well, it's going to undermine the entire system we have in place to funnel boys and girls into pre-approved gender roles that society has deemed acceptable. All of our gender-based insults are going to have to be redesigned, and I'm too old to stop calling people "pussies" or saying a quarterback throws like a girl.

Pigtails = Horny sex-kitten

Title 9 is what I'm thinking of. Dance is increasingly being recognized not only as a sport, but as a competitive sport. I'll concede I would have agreed with you 100% just 10 to 15 years ago. It is hard to imagine dance as a sport until you've seen the girls doing their ballerina push-ups with their feet up on the barre and knocking out crunches until your own sides start to ache just from watching them.

I'm still not sure how I feel about the whole "Can it be both an art and a sport?" thing.

Maybe I'm just a softy because I also think a lot of male athletes aren't treated fairly by colleges. College football, for instance, how is it even possible that we go on pretending that is not a for-profit endeavor? Why are only some of those guys on scholarship? Why aren't they all on scholarship?

I can't give a good reply to your assertion that women suck at sports that people care about because I've never been a sports fan. Baseball, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball: I have no desire to watch any of them. So, I don't know, maybe you're right, but I'm not in a position to judge accurately.

Might backfire when some kid with something to prove goes for a late hit sack and shatters her.

If she could throw you think they would have mentioned that in the article. I mean she didn't even throw a short screen pass in practice.

If you can play, I'm fine with girls playing football, but QB? That's a stretch, unless she can throw a football underhanded, like a softball.

Risk life and limb playing high school football to impress basketball scouts, and possibly earn an athletic scholarship to college.

I played against a girl offensive lineman. She was pretty bad but then again she might have been better than some guys on her team.

Well my daughter's offensive line did, followed by a rather hilarious awkward moment when they realized the second string female QB was in.

/I don't think she'll make starter unless she has a growth spurt
//good timing and a good arm, but just plain can't see some areas of the field due to her height and the giant tackles

2012-08-29 01:36:08 PM
And I still don't care.
