he's the apotheosis of the modern republican: he inherited his wealth and has declared bankruptcy four times.

Funny how the identification of a condition like autism corresponds to doctors starting to diagnose patients with it.

I know it is not PC and I apologize for this in advance but children/people with autism used to be referred to by society simply as "retarded". Autism has always been with us but has been labeled differently historically.

Just dropping in to show my support for "President" Basilisk Chumpstain 0FUK0.

It's the Usain Bolt of Fartbongos. It may not be the greatest ever, but you're going to have a hell of a time beating it.

NO THEY DON'T

Link (new window) - Thimerosal Exposure in Infants and Developmental Disorders: A Retrospective Cohort Study in the United Kingdom Does Not Support a Causal Association (this is a retrospective study in contrast to the prospective one above)
Link (new window) - Pervasive Developmental Disorders in Montreal, Quebec, Canada: Prevalence and Links With Immunizations
Link (new window) - Continuing Increases in Autism Reported to California's Developmental Services System (This one is especially interesting to me)
Link (new window) - Autism and thimerosal-containing vaccines: lack of consistent evidence for an association.

And that's just the thimerosal ones, the general studies of vaccines consitently show the same damn conclusions.

At this point, you have a lot of money being wasted trying to prove a link that we have a very high confidence is not there.

odinsposse: Trump is living proof that wealth is not evidence of ability.

When someone has led a casino - where people line up to give you money - to bankruptcy THREE TIMES, he might not be the best choice for business expertise.

Look what happened to the autism rates from 1983-2008, when taxes on people like Trump have been slashed to the bare bone.

Nina_Hartley's_Ass: Can we quit saying the right has the birfers and the left has the vaxxers now? Cuz that was never true anyway.

Vaxxers never really seemed to be a political issue. It was usually Special Snowflake Mommy types with little formal education but who "read a lot" and who "do a lot of research," and "as a mother, I just know" types. There's some OH NOES BIG MEDICINE types on the left, but the bulk seem to be Jenny McCarthy types.

Angry Drunk Bureaucrat: FlashHarry: donald trump is not a smart man.

He could be set on a barge, pushed out into the ocean, and no one would miss him.

That would be a waste of a perfectly good barge.
