The Jets lost one good player, Lav Coles. John 'Robocop' Hall, Chad "Bettlejuice' Morton, and Randy Thomas were average players. Johnathan Carter looked for real last week, hopfully it is for more than just one game. If we sign Keyshawn with a 10 Million bonus than I'll be pissed because we could have just kept Coles. Maybe Owens would be alright, Chad already worked with another megalomaniac in Randy Moss. But what the Jets really need are Linebackers and a real SS (sorry McGaw but you suck you violin playing putz.)

Chad will be resigned, hopfully they retain Lamont, and draft a couple WRs. Otherwise the whole offseason needs to be dedicated to the D.

If Curtis Conway wasn't an amputee he'd be the leagues leading WR.

Farm leagues are the best, dude. They play their hearts out. I know the talent is not as good as the big leagues, but the games are great. This is especially true of farm hockey teams, if that is what they are called. I get sick of the athletes, especially living in Washington....even Michael Jordan was a curse on this town.

Clearly, the mid-late 80s/early 90s were your best years. Ditka's Bears. MJ (no, the OTHER MJ) and the Bulls. The Blackhawks were a damn good team, but kept running up against Mario freakin' Lemieux's Penguins. Chelios/Roenick/Belfour at their prime...whatta team!

In Toronto we can't complain. We got a new franchise (Raptors), won the World Series twice (92-93) and would have won it in 94 had there not been a strike. Leafs have been good since '93 for the most part. Argos won a few Grey Cups in the early 90s, and are becoming a good team again. Enough to keep us satiated.

The Dallas Cowboys are the greatest sports franchise of all time. The greatest!

Let's examine Philadelphia:

Phillies - Just signed Billy Wagner, and were just beat out for the Wild Card by the eventual world champs.

I hate all New York sports teams and everything about that crappy place. Philly fans have had it a lot rougher... We haven't had a chamionship since (I think) the 1980 Phillies. The Flyers always come up short, the Eagles seem to have trouble winning at home in an NFC title game, the Phillies are at least trying to get better but won't be anywhere for a while, and of course the Sixers need a second player to play the farking game with Iverson.

Yea... New York has it really tough with the Yankees being there...
