NFA: "They're very good at propaganda," Voight told Virginia delegation members at a breakfast on Monday. "[Obama's] not good at anything else, but he's very good at propaganda. "

Wow, more Republican projection fest.

And we're done here.

Seriously, they have their own propaganda network, one that Goebells woulda given his left nut to control but it's really the Dems who are propagandists?

Like there's a left wing equivalent to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, FOX News, Hot Air, The Blaze, Daily Caller, WND, American Thinker, Free Republic etc etc ad nauseum ad infinitum.

The entire RW exists because of a web of lies, a narrative that they have successfully sold to the most brain dead, low-info voters around.

That Jon Voight gets his Hugo Chavez and Cesar Chavez talking points mixed up is a classic example of one of the RW media followers inability to even parrot back the lies he's been told successfully.

They are really bad at this.

That is why FOX must keep the "liberal media" myth going and stay on offense. It is FOX's way of controlling the narrative. Rather than give anyone a chance to question their lack of journalistic itegrity, FOX attacks others. Being the #1 rated "news" network, it causes the others to panic and start slanting their coverage to the right in hopes of not alienating conservative slanted viewers. The other news networks don't realize that FOX's ratings are due to the 30% or so hardcore conservative base who watch pretty much nothing else and the other news networks will never get these viewers. Instead it just allows a watered down version of FOX's propoganda under the guise of being "balanced" on news networks trying to be legit, feeding the crap to those who can't handle teh FOX derp fest.

These other more legit news networks need to realize they will never get FOX's ratings because those people follow FOX with cult like dedication. They should present the truth and turn a deaf ear to the "left wing media bias" accusations because those accusations will bemade no matter how fair they try to be to the views of the right.

FTFA:Voight's outrage against the mainstream media also extended to its coverage of the Republican National Convention, which the major networks will show for one hour per night between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

"I am absolutely appalled," Voight lamented. "I never thought I'd see the day when the main media would refuse to run the Republican convention. Can you imagine this? What will they edit out? What story will they tell? It's propaganda, pure and simple. And everyone -- every citizen should be up in arms.
"

...

and then there's this beauty of subtletly:

"The Hollywood community is historically conservative," Voight told the Washington Post. "All the people that I so admired growing up were very patriotic and loved the country."

THAT is propaganda. "Conservatives love this country and whoever isn't a conservative hates it."

This is why we want the party to die. Given a platform to speak on, any platform at all, they simple cannot help lying. It permeates through every part of their politics and even their personal lives. As a whole I've found modern conservatives will lie, cheat and steal in order to "win" at damn near anything. The ends justify the means in the MO.

crab66: Why is it that when a liberal celebrity says something they should be ignored and have no credibility but when a conservative celebrity says something we should all listen?

Nobody has ever accused republicans of having credibility.

"They're very good at propaganda," Voight told Virginia delegation members at a breakfast on Monday. "[Obama's] not good at anything else, but he's very good at propaganda. He's learned from masters of propaganda."

Sounds like something from a party whose only talent is propaganda would say.

Tonight I heard from a convention (whose motto is based off a misquote), a lie about welfare multiple times. I lie that's been shown to be a lie beyond all reasonable doubt, and they had the audacity to say Obama is lying about it. This was hours after Romney's campaign stated they weren't "going to let our campaign be dictated by fact checkers" and after the National Review told its true believers that fact checkers were going to say a bunch of things about this convention, but not to listen to them.

So basically "fuk you" is what I'm getting at.
