Catalonians enjoy a good shiat joke, as can be seen in the Caganer, a traditional figurine of some figure, often celebrity, taking a shiat in the corner of the nativity.

That being said, they should all get a chuckle out of the joke that their banks have become.

That´s privately funded and has been for a long time. That´s why they´ll never finish it.

Didn't used to be part of Spain and probably wouldn't be so financially farked had they won back their independence a long time ago.

Also, ETA is a violent terrorist organization run by the Basques and has nothing to do with Catalonia. Catalans are, for the most part, very passive.

How's that famed Catalonian independence going for ya? Oh wait, you actually want to admit you're part of the rest of the country and need help from the central government you despise? Well how do you like them manzanas?

Huh. All this time I thought the Catalonians were the antagonists in Wing Commander.

It's not that simple, and you know it. In fact, no, many Catalans don't still want to be part of Spain and they are still calling for independence. But thanks for playing. Next September 11th there will be another march in Barcelona. :)

You think separating from the central government is as simple as just saying "OK, we're out"? It doesn't work that way. It's also not in Spain's interest to let go of Catalonia because it produces a huge amount of tax revenue and anywhere between 16 and 20 percent of the country's GDP, depending on your sources.
