Its normal for orthodox religion. Superstitions are seen as corruptions of or temptations away from correct religious practice. I've known devout Christians who seriously regarded the Ouija BoardTM as a tool of Satan.

Well you sure are quick to engage in coversation with game snobs and trolls. Please explain your deep seeded butthurt for gamers. I really am interested to know. I know it shocks you but most of the states would never get laws like that to pass since only fanatics think like that and maybe 1 or 2 would write that kind of law.

WoW is like an abusive lover. You know you are better off without it, and every time you leave, it's for good this time. Then you start thinking about the good times you had, and kind of start to miss it and think about giving it one more chance.

It'll be different this time, it's changed.

Sure, it looks and feels a bit different before, but deep down, is it really all that different?

It always starts off well enough. It feels fresh, and a bit exciting to know you shouldn't be there, but it feels good. This is where you belong. But with the good comes the bad. There you are again, setting aside at least one hour a night to gather mats and level professions, 2 hours if you and working on multiple toons. Then *it* happens again, your third run through a new dungeon that night and you know for sure that caster helm is going do drop this time around.

The tank bails after the first boss drops the piece he wanted. After about ten minutes queued up for a new tank, healz gets fed up and leaves. It's over. Time for bed. Wife is fast asleep. She was even giving you the bedroom eyes an hour earlier. "I just got into this dungeon, but I'll be right in after that, I shouldn't leave this group." That was only your second time through.

Never again, WoW. We're through. Besides, I'm seeing someone new.

Shia are less hung up about "magic" than some more puritanical forms of Sunnism since there's quite a bit of mysticism that is shared with Sufism. It's not the same as magic, but there are saints and intermediaries between God and man. Evil eye amulets are fairly common in bazaars in Iran.
