Ask any women if they fancied 'riding the tube' with you to Cockfosters?

If you find yourself in London on the Piccadilly Line if the Underground, you'll notice the female recorded station announcement places an emphasis on 'cock' in the name.

Don't forget about Shepherd's Bush, Mudchute, and my personal favourite (I lived there for 5 years when i first got married, now about 20 mins further east), Hornchurch.

Anastacya: gambitsgirl: Anastacya: Escaped my abusive husband and fled Ohio. Currently in South Dakota (not saying the city, still not sure if he thumbs through my Fark posts). For all of Ohio's flaws, at least there were more than two rheumatologists in the entire farking state. And they weren't three hours apart. Although the lack of paper medical files and the computer tracking is great.

Finding a damned doctor? Yea, this state is lacking. Oh well, at least I'm away from the ex.

I went to Machu Picchu and did the Inka Trail - here I am along the way sitting on top of one of the many terraces of Wiñay Wayna. Incredible trip.

Tell me more, please. My wife and I both turn 50 next year... and while we're both avid power-walkers, I wouldn't call us super-fit hikers. Decent for our age, I guess. And we're not used to the altitude.

Would the Inca Trail be biting off more than we could chew? We both want to, but we have concerns. Tell me straight, yes or no?

Acclimation is going to be the big deciding factor. I passed a number of people who weren't in the best of shape who had porters lugging their stuff - it's doable, it's all just in how slow you're going to take it. Most folks take 4 days to do the whole thing, I believe.

As an alternative, there's other entry points which make it so that you don't have to deal with Dead Woman's Pass (and let's be honest - that hill is the real killer of the entire thing), so you can experience at least some portion of the trail and still hike into Machu Picchu. I'd look into something along those lines if you're concerned.

Did online searches for filming locations using the particular movie. I regret not going to Northbrook Mall (where the geeks had Icees dropped on them in "Weird science"), finding Cameron Fry's house (from FBDO), and not figuring out how to get onto the football field to recreate Bender's "fist pump" at the end of TBC (it was fenced & locked)...

If you're in any way fit you should be able to do it, I did it (with my own backpack) back when I had a twenty-a-day habit, and while it was challenging it was by no means a nightmare.

Day two is by far the worst. Try leave your heavy gear in your hotel in Cusco, or as another poster suggested, get a porter to carry it, and chew lots of coca leaf.
