We went on a big roadtrip, and on the way visited the Minister's Treehouse in Crossville, TN.. probably my favorite vacation photo this year.

And, on the Nick Beef thing, just go to Rose Hill Cemetery. Find the Beef grave, and you'll find Oswald.

Started out the summer finding out my dog has a degenerative muscle disease and ended up the summer finding out my dad has pancreatic cancer. Somewhere in there I got my piece of shiat Corvette running.

 

Vacation's over...

Alright! Hard to forget. I was 16 at the time and the scouts I was with (including the leaders) were arses. I ran out of water at the tooth and we had to hike back to base camp, across that ridge in the full summer-sun. I was in full-on hyperthermia, having auditory hallucinations, and not a single scout/leader would share even a drop of their water. Luckily the infirmary moistened me up asap. Took a while for the delirium to subside. I left scouts after that experience. Philmont holds a very special place in my soul, though. Up until that last near-death hike it was an incredible trip/hike.

gambitsgirl: Anastacya: Escaped my abusive husband and fled Ohio. Currently in South Dakota (not saying the city, still not sure if he thumbs through my Fark posts). For all of Ohio's flaws, at least there were more than two rheumatologists in the entire farking state. And they weren't three hours apart. Although the lack of paper medical files and the computer tracking is great.

Finding a damned doctor? Yea, this state is lacking. Oh well, at least I'm away from the ex.
