Trocadero: The reason Walt flips out and kills Mike is b/c Jesse respected and liked Mike more than Walt.
CavalierEternal: Mangoose: How many more episdoes until the break?Next Sunday is the midseason finale, then we have to wait until next July for the final eight episodes.
MagSeven: libranoelrose: I just had a thought. At the beginning of the series when Sky is biatching at Walt about using the wrong credit card to buy ink or paper for the printer they were obviously super strapped for cash. How did they manage to maintain their pool in ABQ while being so poor?Anyone from that area know what the water costs would be?You know, I never thought about the pool. Let me speculate.- They don't use it that often anymore. Maybe for BBQs, but not the family. Walt Jr. doesn't strike me as a swimmer.- during droughts, they just let it dry up. It's just not that important to them.- Walt is a chemist. He either has access to or can cobble together, great pool cleaning/algae killing agents at a fraction of the price. This keeps the pool looking great even when no one uses it.
SFSailor: recognizing Lydia
MagSeven: eddiesocket: MagSeven: When did I say I didn't know about Fring's account? Putting words in my mouth as well as the show's I see.If it was in a "secret offshore account" how the fark would the DEA get to it?FRING HAD THE OFFSHORE ACCOUNT! FRING!!!!!! WHY WOULD MIKE HAVE THE SAME ACCOUNT AS FRING?!!
angrycrank: The broader point - Saul will be made very unhappy and skittish by Mike's death
The Homer Tax: Trocadero: The reason Walt flips out and kills Mike is b/c Jesse respected and liked Mike more than Walt. That's not why Walt killed Mike.Am I even watching the same show as some of you people? I gotta be honest, I get a kick out of reading some of these theories, and agree it's fun to speculate, but holy cow some of you are out there. I'm just going to throw this out there: Walter White didn't buy a giagntic machine gun one year from now for an epic showdown with his wife and/or protege, yo.All I can offer you is this: Whatever you're thinking? It's probably wrong. That's what's so great about this show, it's really hard to predict most things that happen. It wasn't just last week that half the people on here were predicting some sort of Epic showdown where Mike takes out walt to end the season or series. But what happened? Everything and nothing instead. Mike didn't go out with a proverbial "bang," he went out with a wimper. There was no great reckoning, there was no epic showdown, no one got their come-uppance. Big, Bad Mike died a lonely old man staring at a river, having been shot by a former Chemistry teacher turned wannabe drug kingpin for little more than insulting his pride. How many of your called that for the penultimate episode of the second to last "season?" Not many, I bet. Now, Say my name.
FinFangFark: EddieMoscone:Jess will know it was Walt, and we'll end the 1st half with Jesse going after Skyler as payback, and Hank finding out it was Walt all along.
Trocadero: MagSeven: I don't have my law GED, but wouldn't that lawyer pull an "attorney-client privilege" move with that big bag of money? Is that why Saul was calling him a shiatty lawyer?Lawyer or not, you can't walk around w/ that much cash. He's saving his own ass from racketeering charges.
Now That's What I Call a Taco!: Damn, Mike is dead.Remember when he went on that badass killing spree with a silenced pistol after blocking out the camera with a bunch of helium balloons? One of my favorite scenes from the show. One of the more badass characters in TV history.
ontariolightning: Butterflew: I think my favorite part from the entire series is when Jesses heading to kill the guys that killed his girlfriend's (Andrea?) brother..and Walt just BAM!! Runs them over and shoots the one guy in the head. Freaking awesome!that was greatbut mine was in season 2 when walt told the two meth dealers "Stay out of my territory"with the DLZ song playing
ontariolightning: Bubblegum Tate: HempHead: So now that Mike is dead, who is Walt going after with the machine gun in Episode 1?defending himself against whoever from the cartels is out to avenge Gus. Shouldn't have spilled the beans to the Phoenix drug lords Waltwhy would the cartel want to avenge Gus?he killed that one whole cartel
costermonger: HempHead: So now that Mike is dead, who is Walt going after with the machine gun in Episode 1?The Phx crew... Or the DEA?
HempHead: So now that Mike is dead, who is Walt going after with the machine gun in Episode 1?
