Yeah, about that. Reporters don't necessarily get to write the headline. Some places have editors that look at the article before it gets printed/beamed into the tubes, and they write the headlines.

I relied on the college newspaper editor once to add the byline to an article I'd typed (get off my lawn, in those days we didn't have your fancy publishing software). As a result, the article on some serious feminist issue ran with my comical placeholder "an Irish gentleman whose name eludes me for the moment." To his credit, the correction the next week included "We're sure you can understand how this could happen."

So that made it one hundred and TWO ways to start a fight then?

Fark Terrelle Pryor.

But yes, the URL and the headline are funny.

But the problem here is that someone entered a typo into a search key phrase before the database had a chance to replace it. So the search results assumed the default headline had already been replaced. Just a theory.

He was. Hard to believe the Niners can't get any more pressure.

Manning's passes didn't look fluttery, the way they sometimes have in his earlier preseason games.
This could be bad news for 31 NFL franchises.

They only blitzed a couple times and when they did it worked. Manning threw some really great passes. The whole offense looked more consistent. I'm even more overly optimistic than usual this year. Hell even Moreno is running angry.

Take the poor Detroit secondary, and then put the guys that couldn't beat them for a starting spot, that's who Pryor was throwing against.

Criner looked good though, couple nice grabs.

Broncos, as hateable as they are, force me to admit they have an O-line worthy of envy. Good center, Clady is great, Franklin might be pretty damn good too. I was kind of hoping Vonn Miller would rip Alex Smiths spine out on live TV, but I knew that wasn't likely when I sat down to watch this game.

Right now I'm watching a douchbag interview a douchebag who looks to be slowly morphing into Al Davis.

He was an extra on Burn Notice and they let him keep the clothes.

Was watching NFL Network last night while they were showing bits of this game. Pryor threw an awful INT and they cut to Sapp and Lombardi who blasted him for five minutes, basically saying he was barely qualified to hold a clipboard.

Later they showed a bit of the 3rd quarter when Pryor started to do some things against guys who will be bagging groceries next week. Cut to Sapp and Lombardi discussing whether Pryor had locked up the back up job over Leinart with his masterful performance.

Pryor will end up a very good Pro QB.

Or Worst Manning could just lead his new team to an early exit from the playoffs as usual.

I think he has one major advantage over most QBs and that is that he is quick and he is a beast and hard to bring down. He would be an above average NFL QB if he could get someone to work with him on his passing. (working with 2 pass only QBs can only help). Hey, if Tebow can do it....
