Deslided.

Weird about the Aquaman/Submariner thing and the lack of resolution for the Fourth World was disappointing after showing such promise.

The rest of those I couldn't care less about.

Didn't we see this EXACTLY a week ago?

That was Marvel. Both are guilty of dangling plot lines and hiring Rob Liefeld.

I think it was Marvel and also "cliffhangers". Which is sort of different. Fark will greenlight pretty much anything if you can find 10 of something.

Unlike the Marvel ones a lot of these (at least the top ones) were literally unresolved.

I'm surprised they didn't mention the JLA/JSA Team-up where Mr. Terrific was killed by the Spirit King.

Although, that was resolved in Spectre #54, and led to the origin of the Michael Holt Mr. Terrific. But it's a very buried resolution to the story, and took 20 years to finally be told.

Monarch was Extant? I had no idea that's what ended up happening to Monarch. And I always wondered who Extant actually was.

That's the only one on the list I actually knew anything about, though.

. In Zero Hour, Monarch absorbed Waverider, which made him Extant. They then took the regular DCU's Michael Rider and made him Waverider. Then, Extant was whacked in JSA. Then he came back as Hawk again. I think that was in Brightest Day.

/my knowledge of DC Comics ends with 2011.

Remind me to never click on Newsorama links...

This link reminds me of why I have about quit buying DC titles.
Nothing connects to anything and nothing previous matters any more.
And to think I thought the Spiderman-Mephisto-Aunt Mae-Mary Jane business was a comic killer.
Green Lantern and associated titles are the only thing keeping me with DC at this point, don't know how much longer that will last.
The New 52 is the new death of DC, and yes, the new Superman costume sucks too.

Ten-way tie for first: Why don't all people who are fascinated with comic books as if they were 5 years old just kill themselves already?

It's armor...IT'S FARKING ARMOR! When did Clark Kent/Kal-El need armor?

Yeah, hoping DC DIAF real soon.

What game is that? The one where you and your uncle played doctor in his trailer?

Flashpoint pretty much left a lot of running plots just hanging in the air, like the storyline in Brightest Day about how Firestorm was becoming unstable enough to blow up half the universe.

Jesus - at least when Crisis happened, DC tried to tie up as many loose ends as possible. They even wrote origin stories for Lilith, Kole and Wonder Girl in Teen Titans despite the fact they were going to be altered or negated months later due to the changes from Crisis. "Whatever Happened To The Man Of Tomorrow" was basically the resolution for the Silver Age Superman.

Hopefully Nu52 will pull a "Heroes Reborn" and everything will go back to the prior status quo.
