But the man elected to kick in overtime because he wanted the wind to his back in a dome. 0-16 is a lack of effort, but what he did would warrant ritually breaking up with The Last Samurai in Japan.

Didn't make players attend team meetings. Even got into poker games with the players and got his ass handed to him. His legacy is literally 'the guy whose mess Vince Lombardi cleaned up'.

Under Green-who turned the Vikings into a Super Bowl contender just a few years earlier-the Cardinals continued to be a laughing stock. That Monday night meltdown against Chicago was the absolute low point.

Yet, as soon as they brought Ken Wisenhunt in, the Cardinals went 8-8, then came within a few minutes of a Super Bowl title.

That's probably giving Weisenhunt a little too much credit. A lot of that improvement was due to Warner and after he left, the Cardinals are starting to look a lot like they did under Green.

I just do a Google for 'deslide', and it's the first result. Don't bother to remember the address. Problem is, only about 40% of sites seem to work. Maybe a fellow farker out there will tell me what I'm doing wrong...

Both offenses look decent. It helps that both teams are in "we're just trying to get our starters a few reps without getting anyone hurt" mode, on both sides of the ball.

The only place that the Cardinals are consistent is that they blow it when it's on the line. Look at that Super Bowl season, they got on a run and then almost didn't make it. After 18 years of putting up with them in Az, I was damned glad to leave. They suck, and they only got their nice new stadium because they happened to get lucky and blow out the Cowboys the Sunday before the election. I saw the mood change overnight, everyone who was sick of them was suddenly their biggest fan.
