Get your anus running, head out on the highwy
I like cud and lightning, heavy metal thunder,
racing with the wind and the feeling that I'm under.
Yeah, darling gonna make it happen.
Take cow chips in a love embrace.
Fire all of your stomachs at once
explode into space.
Like a true nature child we were born, born to be wild.
We can climb so high, I never want Elsie to die.
Born to be wild, born to be wild.

I read it as pop-powered.

Actually, it appears it can run on human waste. Just not directly from the rider's arse.

Well, there's nothing in the word "motorcycle" that declares it to be a two-wheeled vehicle. That would require it be called "motor-bicycle", which isn't used anymore.

So, technically it's correct. Although I still call them "trikes" myself.

Definitely not biodiesel. FTFA:
It runs biogas fuel (fertilised, purified and compressed livestock waste and household wastewater) provided by Shika-oi Town in Hokkaido and Kobe city.

TFA is not terrible clear but I pretty sure it's running on methane which is produced from poo. It does not run on poo. Poo never touches the bike.

/not clear if the motor is diesel or not. could be either I think

I so want to experiment wit bio-gas at my future farm next year. I'm going to use horse manure, stall wood shavings, grass clippings, assorted ag waste, etc., and put it in 55 gallon drums, fill with water, seal them and connect multiple drums to a single manifold and pump the generated bio gas (methane) into truck tire inner tubes for storage. Then burn the gas in a lawnmower sized engine driving a car alternator to charge my battery bank. Then dump all the scrumptious compost into the garden....

/prolly get raided by the DEA as a suspected meth lab

Any guess as to the efficiency of this set up? I would bet that a generator would be far more efficient than a home made setup.

If I could get a purpose built propane/methane fueled 12 VDC generator set I would go that way. I'm definitely NOT getting a conventional set that puts out 110v ac and connecting it to a battery charger. Lose too much electricity.

Car alternators have the voltage regulator built in. Link it to a lawnmower engine with the proper size pulleys and v-belt and you have a fairly cheap and efficient means of converting methane into 12 vdc power source for properly charging 12v batteries.

To me it's like a snowmobile for the road. I hear they handle very similar to newer BRP snowmobiles (minus the skid).

I wouldn't give up my motorcycle for one, but I'd have no shame in adding one to my garage.
