For some reason, I feel a tinge of admiration whenever I read about a criminal that had a good idea. Too bad he didn't use his own printer or keep his mouth shut about how awesome the mask was.

That was really, really cool, yet stupid at the same time.

I'm in a quandary here.

Never print incriminating documents on your color laser printer....

Yeah, I met Dr. Martin Luther King in 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee. I walkin' down the street minding my own business, just walking on. Feelin' good. I walk around the corner, a man walk up, hit me in my chest, right. I fall on the ground, right. And I look up and it's Dr. Martin Luther King. I said 'Dr. King?' and he said 'Ooops, I thought you were some body else.'

laser printers IIRC, print microdots giving out the serial number. After that it's simply following the breadcrumbs.

I buy my laser printers in neighboring towns' thrift stores and dispose of them after I've printed my ransom notes, blackmailing materials, or whatever.

If I were to ever do this, I'd have to have headphones on playing the Mission Impossible Theme constantly.

That's pretty funny actually

So they were smart enough to spend hundreds on a mask but too stupid not to print their own photos. Jeebus, they could hsve taken a puc of the house on a burner phone and used that for a display.

It's a crime to wear realistic Hollywood-style masks?

Yeah, it seems like they had something else planned for it, and they cut it out.

Ftfa: The two men were charged Wednesday with robbery and impersonating an officer and were ordered held without bond.

Nothing about stalking and threatening the clerk?

I own multiple cfx masks. Excellent masks and excellent company.

Robbers are retarded

FTFA:
Cops traced the photo of the clerk's home, which was left at the scene of the crime, to a Walgreen's pharmacy where the print was made. The store was able to link a receipt for the prints to Byam's phone number, cops confirmed.

So, in other words, their letter to CFX had nothing at all to do with their capture.

Why do I think if this had been two white dudes dressed up as black men Jesse Jackson, et al, would be screaming at the top of their lungs about racism and the continual assault on black men being portrayed as thieves by white men; then further demanding this be treated as a hate crime?

neomage2021 is this a hobby thing, or for Halloween, or you an actor? most folks don't own several high end masks.

Stupid headline. Reading the article, it sounds like it wasn't his thank you email that got him caught at all. If the robber had never emailed, the cops had his phone number and were probably looking at his credit card receipt when the mask maker chuckled that he even got a thank you note.

From another article:

Monsalvatge had alleged robbing another Pay-O-Matic in Queens, on Sept. 10, 2010. On Facebook, he lists his occupation as 'venture capitalist.'
'The invidual [sic] has always had to struggle from bein[sic] overwhelmed by the tribe. If u try it you will be lonely often, and sumtimes[sic] frightened. But no price is too high to pay for owning yourself,' he wrote on his profile.

Owning yourself indeed.

Try reading TFA, genius. They thought the perps were white. So discovering that they were black is germane, dontchathink?

Not bad, but the lack of relationship between eye and face, and mouth and face, kinda makes me feel like I'm talking to a Skyrim NPC again.

/look, I don't need to harvest your leek, ok?

Wanted for questioning...

LOL the kids did it better than when Adam tried to be Jamie and Jamie tried to be Adam. There's a problem in that the basic dimensions of each one's head sets a baseline for head shape. But the eyes and mouth are still sunk too far in.

It's surprisingly good, but also seems both very botox'd around the face and yet MIB flabby around neck.

Dear Sir: --
While I still have got breath in my lungs I will tell you what a dandy car you make. I have drove Fords exclusively when I could get away with one. For sustained speed and freedom from trouble the Ford has got ever other car skinned and even if my business hasen't been strickly legal it don't hurt anything to tell you what a fine car you got in the V8 --

Yours truly
