6. Yet this guy still relates better to white middle class males better than anyone in either party.

I went 8 for 11. Fun to get a few wrong.

Or the old Cheney/Goebbels standard.

9/11.

Holy shiat. 9/11!

10 out of 11, good enough for Euro-thrash like me! (I failed the condom question) Though I'm more of an (ex) avid Office fan than I'm aware of Biden's FIM moments, plus I had to guess a few.

Gee thanks for that slide-show of a quiz.

WTF Indeed: Yet this guy still relates better to white middle class males better than anyone in either party.

This middle class white male asks: WTF you talking about, Willis?

I missed two of them, questions 4 and 8.

THX 1138: This middle class white male asks: WTF you talking about, Willis?

I'm sorry I should have clarified. Middle Class white males(who aren't retarded enough to vote against their own self-interests)

But I'm gonna be rich any day now so I need to plan for the future, it's just common sense.

10 out of 11. Missed the Dunkin Donuts one (yeah that's not a good gaffe Joe).

downstairs: 7 out of 11.

Same here. Guess my Biden knowledge needs an update.

It's a nice attempt to do the same thing as the Burns/Romney gag....but like all conservative humor, it just doesn't get there.

And yet, the bribe- business-friendly Republicans are always talking about innovation, creativity, and new thinking, yet everybody who works for them has none of those qualities. Do they think tax cuts will keep them from lifting old material?

Interesting how for over 3 1/2 years nobody said a peep about the vice-presidents abilities. Now suddenly a few months before the election, we suddenly see all these "OMG, Biden is teh stoopid!!" memes popping up. Yeah, I'm convinced.

10/11

Only 5 Biden quotes, two of which were pretty simple mistakes (dad died, not mom/ web site address instead of number), one of which was true but must have been a weird context (condoms), one of which is a pretty profound little nugget of wisdom (you can do it right and still get it wrong), and one that's sort of indefensible in any context (711).

Michael Scott quotes are easy to distinguish because they have no self awareness whatsoever.

I generally like Mental Floss, but they are jumping on the "Biden is incompetent" pile with some pretty weak sauce here.

11/11 too easy. Love the 5 problems facing America from Mr. Scarn.

Serious Black: Holy shiat. 9/11!

It's supposed to be "noun, verb, 9/11", not "adjective, noun. 9/11".

2012-08-23 04:05:20 PM
9 out of 11, mistook one Bidenism for a Scottism and one Scottism for a Bidenism.

2012-08-23 04:09:01 PM
10/11, I missed #2. But I've also watched WAY too many reruns of The Office, and for better or worse have paid attention to Biden over the years.

/For better - the laughs!! For worse - well, duh.....I'll never get those minutes back.

It's actually unwomanly (mostly) to wear a condom.

I went back and changed my answer (Spoiler alert) on #5 from Michael Scott to Biden because of that very fact. Most of it sounded like Michael Scott until "I'm actually embarrassed" at the end. Michael Scott rarely acted embarrassed when he should have and would almost never admit that he was.

What's wrong with voting against your own self interests?

I mean, it would be in my self interest for me to vote for somebody who says they're going to take all your stuff from you and give it to me. But I don't because I think stealing is wrong even though I would benefit.

That's what she said!

2012-08-23 05:29:47 PM
Who said, "I'm bad... hee-hee... shamone... where's Bubbles... I like to have sleepovers with little boys."?

That's right, it was President Barack Obama.

And that's how we play "Who Said It?"!

2012-08-23 07:18:34 PM
36%... I don't have much faith in good ol' Joe, so I put some Scott words in his mouth. My apologies to both fictional characters.

2012-08-23 08:39:15 PM
11/11. Shouldn't they be difficult to distinguish to make their point?

Okay, those are the best who said it quizzes I have seen. Lifetime Movie or Megadeath Song? +1 internets to mental_floss.

It's funny going for page views and ad revenue, but ultimately the site is just spreading a right-wing talking point here.
