I saw "Chuck Norris" and I immediately knew that some kicking would be involved...like in the end of every episode of Walker, Texas Ranger.

Here's what I've never understood: Chuck Norris is a stunt man, so why the hell does he need a stunt double? It's like Mark McGwire using a pinch hitter.

It's cause dude is pushing 60, so they have a double for all his jumping off houses, moving cars, and planes and shiat.

Secondly, Mark McGwire had a pinch hitter; it was called androstenedione.

man, that would have been so much cooler if after they got out of the plane Chuck came out from behind a bush with his death wish gear on and opened fire on the plane blowing it all to hell in a hail of bullets. and then turned the machine gun on the passengers and made them look like tomato soup.

2003-11-20 05:44:25 PM
Meanwhile, Steven Seagal's stunt double was seen running away like a little girl.

death wish was the late charles bronson's franchise. are you thinking of missing in action maybe?

2003-11-20 05:48:20 PM
yes, that's it. missing in action. my mistake. for good measure, you could always throw charles bronson in there too.

Actually, he's 63.

but can the stunt double save Chuck Norris' career?

2003-11-20 05:58:08 PM
In other news there was a tragic accident on the set of Walker: Texas Ranger last week.

...Apparently they finished filming another season.

2003-11-20 05:59:50 PM
You mean Chuck Norris used doubles?
/naive

2003-11-20 06:00:48 PM
I'm pretty sure that Chuck is 60 or older, and if those infomercials tell the tale, he and Christy Brinkley are in damn fine shape.

2003-11-20 06:01:30 PM
Kinnie Gibson was sitting by the door, and he kicked it three times. It came open and we got out. Nobody was hurt.

I guess you could say that the eyes of a Ranger were upon them.

2003-11-20 06:03:03 PM
In related news: Jonathan Brandis is still dead.

arm-bar would have been more effective

2003-11-20 06:26:05 PM
guys, I hate to break it to you but it was really Trey Anastasio from Phish. He's the only Chuck Norris Look-a-like that is flying high enough to pull this one off...

They should have just put a picture of Chuck to go along wtih the story.. how would anyone know the dif?

2003-11-20 06:30:59 PM
This is really weird! I was just reading on another site about this guy, totally unrelated story. You see, there was a story on MSN that I was reading, which had a link to the RocketMan site.

Apparently he is one of only 2 Rocketbelt pilots.

strange, no?

"I might jump an open drawbridge or Tarzan from a vine, cause I'm the unknown stuntman who makes Eastwood look so fine..."

"Your Kung Fu is not Strong!"

2003-11-20 07:00:35 PM
Isn't Jonathan Brandis dead or something?

2003-11-20 07:02:00 PM
...and that movie posted carries some similararity to the Michael Jackson story.

2003-11-20 08:28:47 PM
Chuck's body double lives in my town. I saw him at Wal-mart one day and I was like holy shiat Chuck Norris. It wasn't though, it was this guy. Not this kinnie guy but the body double. Looks alot more like him than Kinniey does.

2003-11-20 09:28:24 PM
Chuck Norris is the celeb I most closely resemble. Little kids especially used to ask me if I was Walker Texas Ranger when that show was popular.

2003-11-20 09:33:53 PM
I'm with Tin Foil Hat on this one, lol

I really thought Trey Anastasio was Chuck Norris' stunt double...

2003-11-20 09:37:01 PM
*pad*

and anyway, Trey's got super Jedi powers... he could kick the Chuck's a$s any day!

I must have slept through that day.

Yuk yuk.

2003-11-20 11:47:25 PM
Chuck Norris is a great points fighter, but can he kick as w/o a ref?

2003-11-21 04:09:44 AM
arm-bar would have been more effective!

I, for one, welcome our new Chuck Norris Stunt Double overlords.

Yeah, the lord loves to pull stunts like that.

Funniest. Thread. Ever.

But seriously, his training kicked in. (Get it???) And how many of you saved pulled innocent lives out of an inferno today? Hands?

2003-11-21 04:11:27 AM
erp. "saved pulled"

erp.

2003-11-21 04:16:22 AM
Makes you kind of think. What has Chuck Norris done for me recently?

That's right absolutely nothing, except talk about the abmaster or something like that

2003-11-21 08:41:50 AM
"The Lord was with us that day."

Perhaps we would all be better served if the pilot was less interested in pop-theology and more interested in the science of flight and the engineering of aircraft. Then he could be more prepared to 1) not crash or 2) escape from a damaged aircraft without the intercession of a karate-kicking stuntman or god.

So? Clint Eastwood is 72 and does all his own stunts.

/do you feel lucky, punk?
