I think the funniest thing was when Biden spoke to the NAACP. Not only was he more comfortable than Bush or Romney, he was more comfortable than Obama.

So you are saying that when republicans question if Biden is capable of being president, that it is a legitimate concern? And not vitriolic hate speech?

Someone needs to tell the Democrats...

I don't know about subby, but I'm pretty amused about now. However, a good portion of the US electorate isn't so pleased. Ryan is the gift that keeps on giving.

Actually, Mr. Bush simply looks better with each passing day. That is actually not a good thing.

"The rule of thumb is that the more incompetent the man at the top is, the more of a buffoon the man just below him needs to be to make him look good."

I'm surprised we haven't seen Biden in clown makeup yet...oh well, the season is still young.

Really though I think of Biden as a life insurance policy for Obama. "Shoot me down and this guy gets into office and I think we can all agree that would be even worse."

James Monroe put as many political rivals in his cabinet as possible, but Barack Hussein Obama and the people around him are too insecure and paranoid to do such a thing. Monroe might have presided over the Era of Good Feeling, but the age of O is the Era of Bad Feelings. Hillary Clinton was never going to be on the ticket. Even giving her the Secretary of State position would never have been an option if it had not been a matter of pure survival, with the Obamas terrified of losing moderate Democrats to McCain.

The hell?

Seriously, what planet is this guy from?

FTA:Biden's gaffes aren't an embarrassment, they are the whole point, signaling the end of the old American era of leadership.

Is there any one thing that these hand wringing, pantywaists don't consider the end of some better, greater good? For a party that always insists the left are defeatists they sure do lament and predict defeat a lot. Not just defeat but complete catastrophe. "Resident Baroque Hassan N0bama made an effort to reach out to (insert some nation here) at some level of mutual respect today. It's almost as if he is saying the US is weak. Believe me when I tell you folks, the Democrats are defeatists and what it signals is the end of the entire world as we know it, possibly with seconds!!!!"

And this blog does suck.

It's not "Vitriolic hate speech," no, and I don't think I've ever seen anybody claim that it is.

It is, however, really really farking stupid.

Democrats have been calling criticism of Biden "vitriolic hate speech"? When did this happen?

Ever seen the video of Biden talking about the loss of his wife and child in a car accident in front of an audience of the families of fallen soldiers?

The reason I like Biden - he's a real person with real emotions and heartaches. He's not an automaton or a brown-noser.

It seems the Biden content of the Fark politics page took an eleventy-billion percent increase when Ryan was named. It's a pretty transparent case of the Rovian "attack the strength" of the political opponent.

But these attacks seem to lack even the empty enthusiasm of the content-free Solyndra wharrgarbl. Can they keep it up? Will they really be able to continue to catapult the propaganda unitl election day?

Stay tuned to find out!

I'm honestly not all that concerned about the Romney/Ryan ticket. I don't want them to win but I doubt they'll start WWIII.. or are we on IV yet? They'll play lip service to the Christian Right but nothing of substance will come of it. They will probably have some tax policies I disagree with, but nothing to really get my panties in a knot. Oh, and Obamacare isn't going anywhere.

Honestly aside from annoying rhetoric I don't see much difference between the two. They'll both be soft on big banking and won't do anything to stop outsourcing. Neither will stop the TSA from groping your grandma, stop illegal spying on U.S. Citizens, etc. etc. There's really nothing tangible that I care about that is different between the two supposed choices.

Why people think this particular election is so meaningful is beyond me.

He's the guy in the room that is just as smart as everyone else, but refuses to use the appropriate language to describe the situation, and doesn't care who's there to hear it.

Great for environments where everyone goes overly PC about shiat. Less-than-ideal for top positions of leadership. Bad for appealing to groups with delicate constitutions.

If they only play 'lip service' to the Christian Taliban, the House would impeach them. I really doubt they would need to.. the American Taliban will get theirs.
