The Ghost of Tom Ace: [wile.e.coyote.jpg]
SovietCanuckistan: Whoa whoa whoa, Miss Lippy. The part of the story I don't like is that the little boy gave up looking for Happy after an hour. He didn't put posters up or anything, he just sat on the porch like a goon and waited. That little boy's gotta think 'You got a pet. You got a responsibility.' If your dog gets lost you don't look for an hour then call it quits. You get your ass out there and you find that farking dog.
skinink: This would never happen to a cat, because they're too lazy to leave the house sneaky enough to catch a seagull.
Evil Mackerel: Lets hope this doesn't lead to another damn talking animal movie with actors who careers are starting to flag.
IRQ12: Yes, because previously all dogs just fell over and died when a hum wasn't there to guide them to their destination. It's almost like this dog could pick up faint odors and guide himself back. What a miracle!

Gyrfalcon: The amazing thing isn't that the dog made it home, you silly people. It's that it survived a fall over a 100' cliff and THEN made it home.Proving only that labs are the dumbest dogs on the planet, as well as the most unbreakable.
Earpj: This is my daughter's dog after evading 3 cops and 3 animal control officers, swimming across a lake, playing on the freeway and jumping off of a 20 foot overpass.[i296.photobucket.com image 640x480]">$1500 later, her front legs have tendon damage and may never heal and her back leg was shattered, but is ok now.
Gyrfalcon: And I'll bet puppy didn't learn a thing....she'd be right out playing in traffic again if you gave her the chance.
Reaperman: Sad: Dog gets lost on his way home by taking a detour off a 100-foot cliff after chasing a seagull. Happy: She makes it homeDid the dog get neutered on the way down the cliff?
