That's the truth for every position on the team. If it's not then you need to make the player believe it is.

Eh, it's sort of different with Vick. He put together one of the best 3 game stretches by any QB in recent history back in 2010 before exploding into a fine mist of blood and tendons. Last year he was playing great until he tweaked something, and then while he was on one leg the Redskins smashed his ribs.

If he didn't spend 2 years in prison, he might already be out of the league. He's undersized as it is, and he takes hits like a running back.

That's because he's apparently too stupid too have figured out that he's not in college anymore, and that in the NFL, sometimes you just have to take a sack, instead of heaving something up, exposing yourself to a shot to the ribs, and/or an interception, like he did on Monday night.

Not by pinning their hopes to Vick staying healthy. And I wouldn't get too enthusiastic about Foles; he basically has only played against back ups.

They both do their part to control the pet population.

So is Foles going to be the next QB that Reid makes look like a potential pro-bowler, only to have him sign a huge contract with...lets say the Titans, and have him turn into a bust?

Naw, that's Kafka to the Dolphins (not gonna get the Cards again so soon). Check back around 2016 for Foles first season in a Cards uniform.

Brady gets a flag, 15 yards, automatic first down, and a spitting fit on that play six times out of ten.

Apparently you are too stupid to realize vick is an idiot and refuse to realize he needs to stay in the pocket for protection, but by all means philthy keep trying to teach him that, he never learned that shiat in atlanta and he will just piss you off up there as well. I laugh at them because they ignored what they were getting for that cash, now hes going to go into save my ass mode which means he gets paid while putting out 1/4 effort, vick is a little biatch who has suckered them into giving him a shiatload of money, now he will never get you close to a super bowl.

He makes randall cuningham look like a HOF QB philly so good luck with mr glass.

Yeah not with that 6 year $40 million guarantee they wont, philly is stuck with him at least until 2014, good luck with that.

As an atlanta fan Im almost glad vick got arrested since I knew he would never get the team near a super bowl win, hes a biatch and will always be a biatch.

Pretty sure they have an out built in to the contract through this year. If he doesn't stay healthy and play well, he could be gone after this year.

$40 million is guaranteed, that is the point of having guaranteed money in the contract, so even if hes gone they still owe him a lot of cash.

No he doesn't. That was a squeeky clean hit made in the torso as he was releasing the ball.

Kafka is the perfect Eagles quarterback anyway. A man wakes up in a city; realizing everyone sees him as an insect. He does his best to please them and live as he might. Until he's driven to the darkest corner available to him with everyone turning upon him, wishing he would die alone and disappear, and so he does.

Foles should be their starter anyway. Sure, he outperformed Vick and was going against the same defense Vick was. But hey, let's keep starting Vick even though you know he's going to get injured after putting together many inconsistent starts and roughly a .500 record.

You are correct, he's only guaranteed $3M after this season. I'm sure Vick is gone but I don't know about Reid, the ownership seem to really like him. I have no idea why anyone thought Vick would work, it was pretty obvious that while good for the occasional flashy play he's not the kind of guy who can win you three games in a row against tough teams in the playoffs.

Why? The man is an offensive genius. Look at all the high-powered offenses he's run. He's a master of finding a talented young quarterback, drafting him, and then turning him into a perennial all-pro. The only reason he doesn't have three or four Super Bowl rings is because his offenses always had to carry around a lousy defense.

Ownership may like Reid, but from what I saw before I moved out of the Philly market about a year ago, the fans were just about ready to move on. I don't think that Lurie would go into a season with Reid as a lame duck and giving Reid an extension after another failed season would be highly unpopular. And since the Eagles have slipped to being the least successful Philly team after being the only game in town for almost a decade I don't think that ownership is going to be content with the status quo just because they like the guy.

Wait, what? When did that ever happen?

And as a head coach, he is responsible for both the offense and the defense. If the defense sucks then it's his job to fix it and not ignore it at the expense of his offense.

But when a defense sucks as bad as Tampa Bay's defense did, it's hard to compensate for. I admit, he might have made some missteps by signing players like Charlie Garner at the expense of restocking the defense. However, when you look at the incredible impact Charlie Garner had on the Buccaneers offense, I truly think it was worth it.

Bottom line is: the man has done everything to show he is one of the greatest offensive minds in the history of the game and an incredible judge of talent. The high-octane offenses he coached with Tampa Bay are still spoken of down there.
