He sincerely believes that the problem people have with his statement is that he used the word "legitimate," rather than "forcible."

That's really what he thinks.

Which just proves that a substantial portion of the Republican base doesn't care about what positions their candidate holds so long as he annoys liberals. Sociopaths.

Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.) also referred to the potential damage Akin could do to the Senate race. "As a father and a former prosecutor who defended victims of rape,

You're doing it wrong.

"What we're seeing right now is a tremendous outpouring of support from just regular small people," he said. "They're not the big party people."

He obviously hasn't seen midgets party. Wee Man alone is a one man wrecking crew.

The Akin and the damage done

Akin talked to NBC's "Today" show this morning, noting that Paul Ryan personally urged him to withdraw, which only serves as a reminder that Ryan and Akin co-sponsored legislation to redefine "rape" for the purposes of abortion and a federal "Personhood" measure that would ban abortion, some contraceptives, and in-vitro fertilization.

Akin again proves how short in character he is, but frankly this is a statement dwarfed by his other one.

Now I know why they are also against birth control; they figure as long as you rape women legitemately you don't need contraception.

You serious? It might not even cost this guy the race let alone cost Romney anything in Missouri.

I guess it might hurt him nationally, but as long as he doesn't actually rape someone there, Romney will win Missouri.

Yo Uncle Eazy, you need to test those typefaces for legibility at a distance. Say...25 feet or so?

Good work. Kitty approves.

I doubt he's getting much union support.

neversubmit: Akin talked to NBC's "Today" show this morning, noting that Paul Ryan personally urged him to withdraw

In much the same way as it's not "legitimate rape" unless the 'victim' personally urges their attacker to withdraw.

From TFA, quote from Sean Duffy (R-eality based): "As a father and a former prosecutor who defended victims of rape, I strongly denounce Rep. Todd Akin's callous and offensive remarks. A crime as violent and heinous as rape should never be minimized, especially by a member of Congress,"

Republicans, take note. This is how you call out a dumb shiatbag. I would of added something about him being a steaming pile of excrement, but you get the idea.

The only surprising thing about this? That there haven't been massive cries on fark of False Flag ops and Akin being a Democrat deep-cover agent.

Oh shiat I just started it didn't I?
