To be fair, that really wasn't Santa Claus... It was a drunk jackass in a Santa suit. There are literally thousands of other reasons to have distaste towards the Philly fans. (just read incident reports from games)

From Philly, would never put Velveeta or its hell spawn cousin Cheez Wiz on a cheesesteak. #Fark you.

To also be fair, I have seen our multi-million dollar closer blow several saves and close games. It's enough to make anyone yell FARK.

Toss in a Vick who can't remain healthy and you can see why there are a lot of FARKs going around this rabid sports town.

Considering that Rocky is their most successful sporting franchise, they've got an inferiority complex as they used to be the capitol before people wised up and moved south, and they're not nearly as cool as NYC.

Basically, it's like the entire city has short-man syndrome coupled with wee-little peener syndrome.

/fark them. nothing of value comes from there.

Kind of like how Balmer is known as "Charm City", but almost nobody finds anything charming about syphillis.

Philly is an embarrassment to the rest of the Commonwealth. And considering what's happened here in the last year or two that is really saying something.

Haha you're stupid.

You know how I know that? My profile says I'm no longer in Jersey, not that I'm from there. You're just dumb enough to make that assumption. Since it also says I'm a Navy brat that's lived in three countries, why anyone would assume I'm from Jersey is beyond me.

You fail. Try again.

not sure what my comment had to do with sports, but even with +100 Seasons of dissapointment Philly phans always showed up with more passion and heart then any city besides maybe boston. Seeing 2 Million people on Broad Street in 2008 was an unbelievable sensation.

yay mediocrity.

face it - you've got nothing to be proud of in modern times. The last good thing the city did was contribute to the war effort during the late 30s and 40s.

Came here to say that and then that.

Still, from my time around Philly, I think of the rudeness as simply honesty combined with refusing to think of polite as the default mode. You see someone holding up the front of the line at McDonalds, you say "Come on, douchebag, the menu is the same as it's been for months. Pick something!" That's not rude, it's the truth!
