They've veered enough from the comics that I don't mind another. The fact we have confirmation of Michonne, the Governor, and Merle coming back is good. The fact they got off that gotdam farm and previewed the prison gives me hope for season three. It wont be long now.

Turns out you can kill a walker with a stapler, you just have to be very sneaky.

On a side note, has anyone else played the Walking Dead games on XBL? I found them to actually be pretty fun (I think they're through Episode 2 now). Much darker than the show.

If they continued down the same path as the comics all their viewers would get really depressed and kill themselves.

I stopped reading the comics after #100. I've been following the series since the beginning long before it became a thing, but that was it for me. I don't want to read about the suffering of these (franky kinda boring) characters any longer.

The show has been a fun ride though. Looking forward to the next season.

Exciting news indeed. I look forward to watching this character stand around on the side of the road for hours on end with the rest of the cast.

Loved the lined FB interview with Andrew CLUTTERBUCK (Lincoln) "mocking" the Governor. I love him, but his natural British accent is easier to listen to than his Jawja one. Factoid for older folks who give a dam and don't already know, Andrew is married to Ian Anderson's (Jethro Tull) daughter, Gael.

/I know, cool story, bore.

If I had to guess, it'll come out around the same time as Season 3 of TWD. They're really trying to tie events in the game with what's transpired in the show (Spoilers: like having Glenn in Episode 1, then giving him a reason to leave and go to Atlanta).

I do know it's completed though and currently in approval process with XBL.

metallion: If they'd just kill Carl and Lori off, life would be great. :)

I just wish Carl would stay more like Carl in the comics. The whole point of the character in the comics is that he's this innocent kid who has to deal with some dark stuff and even he can't avoid getting his hands bloody when things get tough. The show chickened out by having him shoot an already-dead Shane instead of being the one to kill him in the first place.

As for Lori, her character is just pointless. Kill her or don't kill her, either way the character is just phoning it in.

It took them a while to kill off Shane, but they still did it. Lori adds no real value to the show and everyone dislikes the character, so the only thing she can do now is die to advance the storyline.

Why can't you watch it on your computer monitor?

If your monitor is shiat, and you can't afford a good one...cancel your satellite TV and get one of these 28" 1900x1200 monitors, or similar:

Link

I've got one of those and game and watch almost everything on it. You'll need a real PC with a real video card or good onboard video.

I don't have an antenna or satellite or cable. I'm thinking about cancelling my children so I can afford one or the other.

Yeah, that was it for me too. I had quit a couple of times beforehand but kept hearing about how a big twist had happened and got it shoved back at me. #100 was a bit too ghoulish in the execution for me, though. Not to mention that I'm disappointed that they're doing the governor storyline again. I don't blame Kirkman for riding the money train the Walking Dead has turned into for him but I'd rather he go ahead and bring the story to a close with its logical conclusion at this point: The death of Rick with Carl having to kill his zombie corpse.

Thank you kind sir for the link.

I have a comparable monitor that is 26", but i've been spoiled with a 65 inch TV for to long to go back now and my office is probably 40 feet from my living room so $5 HDMI cables aren't really available as soomeone said earlier for me to do.

Basicly for my personal enjoyment, i'll just be waiting on blockbuster to mail them to me.

It's a welcometofark.jpeg go cry me a river moment i know.

More a screw dishnetwork/AMC since i don't know who's more at fault than anything any of you guys said.

But i do appreciate the actual link and i do need a better second monitor for my home office because my second right now is an old sony 15" non-HD and the link you provided would be a slight upgrade and i can move my current monitor to secondary use.

Oh yeah, I can definitely see where it would be hard to go back from a 65". I haven't spoiled myself yet, but when I do I probably won't appreciate watching a 28" screen too much afterwards.

I just went and caught up on the last dozen or so issues. #100 was certainly...brutal.

I kind of think it might be time to wrap up the series, though. How many times can they repeat the same type of storyline. Now we're looking at Governor 2.0. I don't know if a "happy" ending is possible, or if it would even fit the story if it was possible, but I'd rather not see the series just carry on for the sake of carrying on.

I just played through episode 1. I actually really enjoyed it, but I was really frustrated that the reasons why I, the player, did certain things were not discussed as Lee's motivations.

No spoilers, but there are a few choices that are tough calls, but boil down to simple utility (to me, at least), but Lee just writes everything off as divine providence or "I dunno, I just did stuff". Kind of sucks.

I still enjoy the game, though. I hope 2 is good. It probably won't be.
