Wrong chocolate to peanut butter ratio.

Plus they are 25% more expensive.

Not that I eat Reese's Cups that often.

It's pronounced "Reesey cups". I have never, ever heard it pronounced any other way by anyone.

Talk about old news. I've been buying Reese's at the Seiyu near my house for months. It never occurred to me that such delicious things were not available before.

Seiyu sucks in all other ways, though.

The peanut butter will likely also be too sweet. Good on Reese's for finally breaking into the market there though. I got quite a few hooked on the damned things when I'd bring bags back from the States.

Well, the original KitKats seem to be the same to me. But then, I don't really see how green tea Reese's would work. You can put all kinds of stuff in chocolate and it's still good. Peanut butter, not so much.

I bought some tomato-flavoured chocolate from the same Seiyu.

Don't.

OK, what's the deal with the Melon flavored KitKats? Does anyone actually like those?

I mean, the green tea one's rock. But melon?

No such luck. I've got Seiyu, Aeon, and アップルランド. Aeon had tortillas, though.

KitKat's work with other flavors because it's chocolate + crispy wafter + whatever. There's wiggle room there and I admit to liking the green tea ones quite a bit. Peanut butter is one of those flavors that doesn't pair well with many things. Chocolate is one exception which is why peanut butter cups are fantastic.

I just wish I could find me my Wasabeef Chips at the Asian markets I frequent here... one day I'll actually head to Mitsuwa in NJ.

Doesn't sound bad. They might be seasonal, however. Japan is notorious for creating 3-week-long snack food flavours before abandoning them forever.

I've heard that Japanese people generally do not like peanut butter.

Can someone with experience there comment on that?

There's not a single supermarket in which I've not seen peanut butter for sale. It seems to be less sweet.

My experience was they were not used to the saltiness of American peanut butter. The stuff they usually had (at least in the school lunches that were served at the schools I worked at) was much sweeter. Never got an "ew gross" reaction from anybody.

In Kanagawa now, but I want out of suburbia. And want a big enough garden for the kid to play, and for me to have a man garage. We have friends that moved to Chino to open a orthopedic clinic, and we're going to follow them.

/Prices are completely different, every time we get off at Suwa IC it feels like we're coming home, not just visiting.

Costco sells 1kg tubs of Skippy, so I'm guessing people are all right with it.

I shop at Costco in Korea. I noticed a lot of the American brands had tape covering something on the packaging. While my wife was checking the produce section and I was getting irritated by the farking ajummas bumping me so I decided to explore. I started taking the tape off the packaging. It was covering up things like "organic", "all-natural" and "fat free". Makes me wonder what our standards for those things are in the US.
