Mose: somedude210: theknuckler_33: I don't know a lot of people on that list, but I hope the DNC doesn't fark this thing up.

like Democrats ever fark something up. It's not like they're Republicans who have to combat god's sense of humor with a conventional hurricane

Are there guerilla hurricanes? Or nuclear hurricanes?

Either one would be much worse.

bad pun on my part, but thanks for the possibility of a nuclear hurricane. That's gonna make me sleep better at night :D

Kazan: yeah because bringing in successful or influential women as speakers when women's rights are up or play in the election is entirely pandering. we should have men talk about those issues - then it wouldn't be PANDERING.

for fark sake.

The Republicans were brave enough to do it.

JohnnyC: Eva Longoria strikes me as being very intelligent... which makes her twice as hot in my eyes. :)

She was on the Bill Maher show about 6 months ago and she did in fact come off as an intelligent woman.

/ hot and smart. Great combo.

This. Not just smart and articulate, she does her homework. Spends time in the "field" on social issues too. I'm not just saying this so she will sleep with me.

Sandra Fluke? You mean the entitled Georgetown student and future 1%er who thinks the government has nothing better to do than buy condoms for her? If the Rushtard hadn't said nasty things about her, she would be a joke.

So I guess you can thank Rush for making her a public figure.

No, they're talking about the woman that testified about women she helped that needed hormonal contraceptives for various things, but their private health-insurance they were paying for wouldn't cover it.

No such program exists. The rule just drops the co-pay, women will still pay their premium for the coverage. But you probably know that don't you? You just felt compelled to spew some more dishonesty into the world huh? For the kicks.

Any she needed hormonal contraceptives.... why? Again, just an incredibly entitled future 1%er. Insurance is for when bad things happen; it's not to buy the daily wants. I want a pony and my health insurance company won't pay for it!

This. If Fluke was my daughter, I couldn't imagine being more proud of her. I would also probably be going on a murderous rampage against certain people over the vile shiat they've been saying.

Does it hurt when your knee jerks that hard? Because that would be a legitimate thing for your insurance company to pay for.

mrshowrules: This. If Fluke was my daughter, I couldn't imagine being more proud of her.

If she were my daughter, I would not be at all upset that she was sexually active. But I would be ashamed of her attitude that others should pay for her living expenses. She either needs to get a job to cover it, borrow more money, or ask me if I can spare more money for her.

Which is a legitimate medical need, and has nothing to do with blanket coverage for anyone who feels like they'd like hormonal contraceptive.

It's so cute when some angry retired/unemployed conservative has nothing better to do but pollute the Internet with teabagger nonsense.

Wait.. Hispanics are considered white? I thought they were hispanic ..

From what little I understand:

White Hispanic: Spanish, Portuguese, etc, people from the geographic region once known as Hispania. No genetics from the Americas.

(Non-white) Hispanic: Central/South American mixed with European, especially in a land conquered by the Spaniards or Portuguese. I can't remember if there's a requirement for Spanish/Portuguese or if it's any European at all.
