After reading all this bullshiat, if I were a a judge, I'd rule as follow.

Apple and Samsung are to be stripped of their rights to patent anything ever again and all their current IP portfolios is to be released to public domain.

Now you motherfarkers have no reason to come back and waste my farking time with your complete garbage.

Apple, here's the deal:

You were not the first people to think up the smartphone, or the tablet. The first to refine the ideas? Arguably so. However, refining does not count as inventing, nor does it negate prior art.

Samsung has not caused irreparable harm to you through selling Android devices. You just became the most valuable company of all time, with a worth that surpasses the GDPs of most countries on the planet. To say Samsung has stolen your business is stupid, because the devices they sell were in direct competition with the devices you sell. Consumers had a choice; the ones that chose the Samsung devices did not choose yours. This still wasn't enough to harm you, as you are the largest smartphone maker in the world, and the iPhone may be the most successful consumer device of all time.

Speaking of consumer choice, a ruling in your favor would drastically harm such choice. A victory for your side means there's legal precedent for suing other companies that make smartphones for simple design similarities, and I have no faith that you will not try to sue the competition out of existence.

Your case is based on a control-obsessed man's dying wish to snuff out a competing platform by any means necessary. It goes to show how petty and small of an individual that Steve Jobs could be, and to those of us that pay attention to the industry, continuing these suits shows that you'd rather carry on his terrible qualities than actually compete.

Apple is taking a wide stance on patents just so they can sodomize people?
