This isn't the first story like this. I suppose the impulse to steal a car after leaving jail is not really that common in the grand scheme of things, but why does anyone ever think this is a good idea?

Could he be homeless, and was disappointed he was only kept in jail for an hour?

You might not think the best way to spend your first day of freedom after a lengthy incarceration would be to immediately resume stalking the tranny hooker who knocked out six teeth and had you put away to begin with. That's how I roll.
