Good.

2012-08-21 01:47:01 PM
Heh.

2012-08-21 01:47:13 PM
I bet he wins, anyway.
Yes, I DO believe people are that stupid.

2012-08-21 01:47:16 PM
I think his campaign is about to experience legitimate rape.

2012-08-21 01:47:30 PM
I still do not understand the context of his comment. What does he mean by the term legitimate rape?

/not trolling

2012-08-21 01:47:37 PM
He'll use the fact that his campaign is stillborn to prove his case about abortions and prganancy.

2012-08-21 01:47:48 PM
Well, hopefully Missouri's internal response will be to shut everything down so they can't conceive this bad idea

2012-08-21 01:48:00 PM
Yeah... I don't think we found out enough about his wrong-headed ideas yet. Please, let's shed some more light on this scum.

2012-08-21 01:48:09 PM
Why drop out? He's going to win.

2012-08-21 01:48:14 PM
Akin probably didn't even bother to ask. the only surprise was when he started.

I would like to hear him explain that, in great detail.

I'm worried that you're right, but I'm going to remain optimistic. I have to believe the DNC is going to throw way more money at this race now.

2012-08-21 01:48:27 PM
It must've been the all-important Kirk Cameron endorsement that finally swayed him.

2012-08-21 01:48:41 PM
"I said one word in one sentence on one day, and everything changed,"

You are running on a platform to shame women in lieu of stoping abortions and you DONT KNOW JACK FARK ABOUT WOMEN'S ANATOMY.

2012-08-21 01:49:01 PM
Is this legitimate?

2012-08-21 01:49:08 PM
No means no...

2012-08-21 01:49:44 PM
Not until he's guaranteed a babby due to the physics of orgasmo fluid dynamics.

He assumes all women who want an abortion because of rape are lying whores, and possibly witches.

//He is introducing a bill to require prescreening to see if women seeking an abortion weigh less than a duck.

2012-08-21 01:50:04 PM
He will once he gets next weeks polling numbers back.

2012-08-21 01:50:05 PM
Prediction: Wins by a landslide thus proving the Immaculate Perfection that is the two-party system.

Most generous explanation: the difference between statutory and non-statutory rape
Most likely: he might not think date rape or a person who is too drunk to consent was "Really raped"

2012-08-21 01:50:13 PM
Fine, stay in the race. Just stop pretending that your god wants you to be there. That joke got old when it was being flung around back in 2008.

2012-08-21 01:50:41 PM

Antidamascus: Why drop out? He's going to win.

His lead went from 8 to 1 over the weekend. You want to rethink that?

2012-08-21 01:50:44 PM
Ha!

He probably knows there isn't much waiting for him if he quits, so he might as well hope this blows over and people will move on to the next "shocking" statement du jour. Can he get on the ballot for re-election of his House seat?

Sadly, I concur

How do these backwater-farkholes even get into office? I bet he has a staff to tie his shoes. Listening to him attempt to sound out vowels in order to form words is farking torture, reassign him to GITMO. Jesus farking christ this guy is a god-damned moron. I want to fight him. I want to fight him with my fists.

Kaka: I still do not understand the context of his comment. What does he mean by the term legitimate rape?

What he believes is some rape is not "forcible rape" (this is the term him and Ryan used in their bill). He basically thinks a lot of women have sex and just regret it then call it rape.

2012-08-21 01:51:20 PM
Good for him...oh, wait...those farkers will re-elect him

Kaka: I still do not understand the context of his comment. What does he mean by the term legitimate rape?

It's the idea that, since the only way a woman can get pregnant is if she enjoys the sex, therefore a woman who gets pregnant wasn't raped.

2012-08-21 01:51:39 PM
Akin says he won't pull out

Wow. Even after all those Republicans said no.

It's pre-life mental gymnastics.

As a resident of his congressional district I find this whole thing hilarious. I've been saying for years that the guy is a total asshole.

/it does make the voters in my district look like idiots though
//Missouri is weird

2012-08-21 01:52:17 PM
I have faith in Missouri. After all, they elected a dead man over John Ashcroft.

2012-08-21 01:52:28 PM
So all of the Republicans rebuke him.
Everyone asks him to step down.
The RNC cuts off his funding.
The SuperPAC's all drop him.

And yet this loser still stays in the race. (Despite being able to easily step aside and have someone else beat this terrible incumbent).

We need to revoke his Republican card.

2012-08-21 01:52:40 PM
The GOP is winning. They are slowly turning this atheist towards believing there is a god and he is good.

Kaka: I still do not understand the context of his comment. What does he mean by the term legitimate rape?

I believe he already "clarified" this elsewhere: he was talking about "forceful" rape (as opposed to "too drunk to give consent/someone slipped her a roofie").

I would guess it also involves women who were "asking for it" by not dressing modestly or drinking.

Legitimate rape is when the rapist presents the rapee with a contract stipulating that the sex about to take place is not consensual. The rapee must then sign the statement, attesting to the unwanted nature of the sexual contact, and in which she must affirm that she is not a "slut," "harlot," "tease," or "asking for it." It must then be notarized, and submitted to the local Hall of Rape Records for processing.

How much you want to bet his funding doesn't get cut at all?

So you're saying we can expect Akin to be the Attorney General in a Romney administration?

Oh my, Akin back!

Not only that but I doubt he'll be able to finance his campaign after the GOP and every SuperPAC have cut off his funds.

And he's not going to have any support from the GOP as a whole. So he's losing a ton of funding, which means fewer commercials and fewer campaign rallies. He's not likely to win after being the favorite to win that race before Sunday morning.

2012-08-21 01:54:06 PM
The Republicans have enough time to find a new candidate and fully fund a write-in campaign.

Not only is he going to win, he is going to win in a landslide. Yes that is more than a little depressing.

Kaka: I still do not understand the context of his comment. What does he mean by the term legitimate rape?

That the woman didn't actually want it, so it's really against her will. Because if you wanted it, even just a little, that implies consent, therefore, it's not "rape" even if the lying slut claims it was.

He's not saying that any rape can be "legitimate", as in "acceptable". But rather, that most rapes aren't really rape.

Which is proven by the fact of pregnancy: because you can't get pregnant if you were truly raped!

Buncha whoores, the lot of them, just begging for it....

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go wash up.

Meanwhile, over at the Claire McCaskill Re-election Campaign Headquarters, the bar has been opened early. A celebration is said to be underway.

What an asshole.
