Talk to Alex Jones

From 1998 to present he claims that every election martial law will be instituted and the elections canceled.

No, I am not making that up. He does that every Presidential election.

No matter how many times this guy is wrong he still has followers

As opposed to a fair election where red counties are allowed more voting opportunities than blue counties?

2012-08-21 08:32:55 AM
I've been hearing this stupidity since right after the 2008 election. Wouldn't it make more sence to wait until 2016 to implement this plan?

Are you asking if President Obama is going to be going from state to sate to impose voter suppression laws? No, probably not.

Krymson Tyde: I've been hearing this stupidity since right after the 2008 election.

It was parody in 2000.

To elaborate, the chances of the election being called off are about as likely as Mitt Romney winning the election or John Cena turning heel

Possibly fair but certainly not safe. He's already contacted Bill Ayers about mining the entrances to polling places in all Republican leaning districts.

I cannot believe people even finish reading articles such as these, nevermind believe them.

If you had told me that you could run a web news outlet entirely on paranoid and irrational strawmen I would have called you nuts.

Yet here we are.

2012-08-21 09:24:39 AM
the Republicans were saying the same things about Clinton at the end of BOTH his terms of office. And to be fair, there were some people who were saying the same things about Bush junior when it came time for him to turn over the keys to Obama.

Well, with Cheney you never really knew did you?

/I admit, I made those jokes. They were, however, not intended to be factual statements.

Yes.

What idiot would think otherwise?

It's one thing to spout fringe insanity. It's another thing to spout fringe insanity that is ACTUALLY BEING COMMITTED BY THE OTHER PARTY.

Word on the street is that American Thinker is neither.

2. Yes.
3. Shut up.

No matter who is in office the opposition always says that the incumbent is going to cancel the elections. It's so incredibly retarded and as a nation we need to collectively get over the fact that the elections are not going to be stopped.

The US has never had a free election in it's entire history.

Yes. Yes, he will. Democrats want as many people to vote as possible, Republicans want to minimise the turnout.

2012-08-21 10:20:03 AM
Every election that has ever been won by a Democrat was fraudulent, you guys.

2012-08-21 10:20:38 AM
Yeah, because Obama is who I worry about when it comes to elections.

Let me guess, these assholes are going to start making noise now, and blaming "Obama's people" later when their shenanigans in Ohio hit the fan.

2012-08-21 10:20:52 AM
Oh, that's rich, accusing Democrats of trying to prevent "fair elections" when they're nakedly disenfranchising millions of Americans to prevent 1 case of voter impersonation fraud.

YES,

Funny however they are not concerned about Republicans actually passing laws to disenfranchise voters.

They are concerned by Obama hypothetically doing something and do not care Republicans are actually doing it.

Heh. I remember the tinfoil crowd was lit up like a christmas tree in OCT 08 about a "carrier group" that had allegedly been dispatched to the Iranian end of the Persian Gulf, which was of course a harbinger of imminent war, martial law and cancelled elections. I reminded the main instigator that he'd said the same thing in 04 and was treated to a rousing chorus of "Wake Up Sheeple."

It was usually the truthers who were into that crap. There are a lot of dumb, crazy people out there. And of course it's no surprise that some of them write for American Thinker: The Worst Professional Politics Blog In English.

Well he just predicts so many things that he's wrong a lot and he's right a lot. He predicted Osama Bin Ladin would hit us again in 2001, and then it happened. Though lots of people could predict that a terrorist who had hit us multiple times before would do it again. He predicted an economic collapse, not for the reasons that it happened, but it happened. And whenever his predictions don't come true he can say it was because of the work of true patriots in exposing the plots of the NWO.
