I like to think that at some point Leonardo had to realize he was the smartest man yet to live, and it amused him to use that power to troll everyone possible, particularly the Church. Hopefully we keep finding his pranks for another couple of centuries.

Yes and Abraham Lincoln was ghey too. I dont really get the allure of these "facts" pulled from asses in later centuries with virtually no evidence except a theory that cant be instantly blown to smithereens. Its all trooo!

Italy's ANSA news agency said art historians long suspected Da Vinci painted himself into the work, but King told The Independent that no one had really taken the time to seriously look for it.

Yeah, cause, nobody really ever paid attention to... what was this guy's name again?

So after 506 years nobody noticed this but we can find Waldo at the drop of a hat?

That's different. When the revolution comes, and those who can find Waldo are separated out from those who can not, THEN WE WILL SEE WHO LAUGHS.

Oh yes, nobody has bothered to look at the Last Supper, it's not like it's one of the most famous paintings in the world and has been studied for years and years with every art historian and student having his own theory whether or not Mary Magdalene is really Peter in drag and how odd it is that everybody is on the same side of such a long painting...
